The hotel was right by the main road and had extremely poor sound insulation. The road is used for drag racing and on our first night, the race continued till 5am. Coupled with regular traffic, it was hellish to sleep. We got a room change the 2nd day and were told that we will get a discount for our first night. Upon check out, the discount was literally $10 off each night. Based on what we paid for our 3 nights and the undesirable sleep condition, (one can still hear the traffic from the other rooms away from the main road) I won’t recommend this hotel. There was one lady that was very accommodating on our room change, however I doubt the message was relayed accurately to the other team members as $10 bucks off is a joke.

Newly remodeled lobby, super friendly staff, and cozy historic rooms make this an awesome downtown option to other chain hotels. The included continental breakfast is really good, and there is great western/native themed artwork throughout the building. Oh, and pets are welcome (with no extra fee!). Will definitely stay here again when my travel plans allow.

The staff didn't seem very hospitable. The rooms were very small, the carpet felt dirty, and the showers were terribly small.
The cookies were great and the holiday decorations were a nice touch.

Wonderful hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Great location. Room was very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend staying here.

The restoration of this historic hotel is nearly finished and the atmosphere is very comfortable. Step back to the past and relax. Friendly staff and several decent restaurants within walking distance.

We used to stay here for years but moved a couple of years ago and haven't been back until now. So good to enjoy our favorite Kalispell hotel again. They love our Aussiedoodle, Marty and Marty feels right at home. Great location to downtown shopping, coffee shops, restaurants and 5 minutes from major shopping centers. Thanks Bridget and Audrey for making our stay.

Lovely! Rooms were comfortable and cozy. It’s a 100 year old hotel so no, it’s not going to have all the fancy bells and whistles like in room refrigerator etc but it had everything you need for a comfortable stay. Coffee always ready on all the floors, cookies and popcorn in the afternoon, and breakfast quiche in the morning. It’s not as vintage on the inside as you would expect, but it has charm. Staff was extremely nice and friendly. Walking distance to literally everything, so we just kept the car parked and walked everywhere. It little noisy, but that’s the location. I wouldn’t have been surprised if it was *******, given its long history, but alas, I didn’t see any ghosts or bumps in the night. Even the spirits are comfy there. If your a history buff, I highly recommend.

Beautifull place, but the best part was the staff. so friendly and accommodating. it was a very nice change from our experience at other hotels in the area.
