It’s a good Sheraton for Xishuangbanna level. Chinese oriented. In winter times - outside pool not heated, water is cold. Many locations for kids to spend time. We stayed over CNY. The hotel didn’t secure that all checked-in guests have a possibility for a dinner on the CNY’s eve. We could have dinner only on a second wave around 8:30pm but many dishes looked pretty much messy/badly touched by then. In general we liked our stay, the staff took very good care of us and was friendly. Feels like a lack of management to bring it to the better level.

The hotel was even better that what we were expecting. The facility is beautiful and the amenities are amazing. Everything is available on site and if you like exercising and relaxing … this hotel will be the best choice for you. Amazing gym open 24h with all the necessary equipments, the indoor pool is clean with a good water temperature for your daily swim. You also have a clean sauna, hammam and hot bath available in the changing rooms (plan to turn it on 20mn before to use it when you will need). The hot springs are just outside the gym so it will be perfect to relax after a day visiting Xishuangbanna. The outdoor pool is nice and clean ( perfect if you go on a family holidays with kids ). The room is spacious and comfortable. The cleaning staff and the rest of the team at the reception, restaurant … were all amazing and did everything to make our stay to be memorable. The restaurant even offered us several times some additional western dishes to make us happy. Ariel added my contact before our arrival to check if we needed anything and helped us during the stay. The breakfast was diverse and very tasty( the pain au chocolat and croissant were delicious). We have tried the dinner buffet once which was good but more Chinese dishes. The hotel is about 25/30mn from downtown so it is convenient if you want to be in a peaceful place but still near by the main attractions. You will need to travel a bit longer to go to the wild elephant valley, the primitive forest and the tropical garden but it was still ok. Thank you to the hotel and all the staffs for that amazing and memorable one week holidays. 10 out of 10.

It’s a beautiful hotel living up to its name, the Grand Sheraton is very grand. We were greeted by peacocks when checking in 😀! Swimming in the outdoor pool was refreshing and relaxing, we were the only ones in the pool in the late afternoon. The hotel is only 4 km from the high speed train station. It’s a little far from the tourist night market, but it was really worth the stay.

Although surroundings are still developing and not all amenities were free, such as snooker and table tennis, it’s a great hotel, I had an enjoyable time staying at this hotel, highly recommended. Celebrated my birthday there and was surprised by both the red wine and birthday cake! Lynn had been fantastic, looking after us throughout the stay, can’t ask for more. The room was spacious, clean and services were excellent as expected from Sheraton. Will definitely visit again!

Beautiful hotel! Comfy beds and awesome shower and bathtub. Little bit out from city centre but super convenient from/to the hotel!

Jolie and Grace gives good service. She told me delicious food and beautiful scenery. I will check in again next time

The Sheraton is about ten minutes away from the airport, so arriving is very comfortable. As with other hotels. the attractions and city are all a drive away. The hotel and room were extremely comfortable. The pool is nice and the club lounge is open from 12 with snacks, drinks and a good dinner with alcohol. Breakfast is excellent and I would particularly like to thank Brion for his care and attention; Sheraton should be proud of such a great member of the team. As a foreigner, travelling in china, this hotel was excellent for English-speaking staff! We would definitely return.

The location of the hotel was great for those who want access to the city but also a quiet retreat in nature. It took about 25 minutes to drive to the night market and cabs were readily available. The hotel itself was beautiful and the room was clean and really comfortable, but unfortunately the pool was closed when we went (the temperature was still warm enough for swimming, so not sure if this was because of COVID?). The cafe and shop were also closed, so there were no options for quick snacks (you might want to bring your own along). The breakfast buffet had lots of selection. Views from the room were lovely, especially at sunset.

The hotel is very big and not that central near the nightmarket than other hotels but that was no issue for us as we wanted to have a quiet night and a big garden to relax. The rooms are very comfortable and clean and we enjoyed our nights there. It is obvious that the building and pool area area not the newest anymore but thats ok. We booked executive package and were a little disappointed about the very less of western dishes in the hotel. There were just chinese dishes every evening which we liked but a little bit more variety of international dishes would be more suitable for a hotel in this category. The staff is very friendly and helpful and we liked the shuttle bus to the nightmarket and other attractions in the area. Thank you!

The hotel is located a bit out of Xishuangbanna but surrounded by nature. Very helpful and nice stuff. There is a shuttle bus for different attractions like the night market to use for free. Also air port shuttle is provided. Unfortenately the outdoor pool was not usable as they were cleaning it while being here but there is an indoor pool and a gym to use. The breakfast was good. We‘ve booked the executive package which was a bit disappointing as the main food contained of Chinese dishes and barely Western food as we thought might be different in such an international hotel of this category. The hotel seems a bit old but that didn‘t bother us.

The location of the hotel is excellent, the environment is beautiful, Lynn's service is a special plus, my family and I are particularly happy with this stay, thank this hotel let me enjoy this holiday.
