Kila bhawan is definitively the place where to be in the golden city; the charm of the old fort, the Rajasthani atmosphere and the decor of the place and of each rooms, the view on the city also, will make your stay unforgettable. The staff is so welcoming, kind, and helpful to make your trip unique. You have all comfort in your room and bathroom, WiFi also available and you can take your breakfast there too. For sure a must try!

This was the best hotel stay in our 2 weeks in Rajasthan. Incredible location in the old fort. The absolute perfect place to celebrate Holi as a family, very friendly and happy atmosphere. Also an amazing hotel to experience the living fort of Jaisalmer. Beautifully done out. Immaculate with such friendly staff. Fantastic breakfast with great coffee and chai. Mr Bhanu will welcome you to your home, and it honestly feels like it. Very special place and unique experience in India. Highly recommend for families, couples and any traveller wanting to experience genuine Rajasthani hospitality!

This is a great hotel. The position is perfect. The rooms are great. There is a beautiful verandah to relax on and look over the fort entrance and city. Mr Bhanu and Manish were really welcoming and genuinely friendly. We had some nice chats on the verandah. Breakfast was great and freshly cooked. They could organise tours for you if you wanted. I loved how you could always get a (free) pot of coffee or chai in your room or for the verandah. Great place. This was the highlight of our India trip

Killa Bhawan was the highlight of our family trip to Jaisalmer. Bhanuji and team opened up their beautiful property to us and for 2 days we lived like kings and queens, thanks to their amazing, kind hospitality! The property was tastefully decorated, neat and conveniently located. Each corner was so picturesque and the views were breathtaking! Don’t miss out on the evening chai on the terrace. It will give you all kinds of Masakali feels!

What a magical place! Inside the fort so we were collected from the gate by Tuk Tuk. Once inside, the hotel is fabulous and our room exceptional with views over the palace and surrounding area. Delightfully and traditionally furnished, comfortable bed and a day bed as well. A great balcony to sit in and watch life go by. It even had its own roof terrace. Bhanu was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. About Jaisalmer and pretty much everywhere else in India. His team were courteous and attentive. Just fabulous!

The location and aesthetic of the hotel are superb. It is part of the Old, living fort. The views are spectacular and one is immersed in the best part of Jaisalmer. Everyone at the hotel we’re so helpful with every need and lots of good advice. The rooms are beautiful and the beds extremely comfortable. I highly suggest staying there if you visit.

We had the pleasure of staying here for a couple of days. Excellent location inside the fort with glorious views of the city and sunrise. The rooms were so nicely done and it made you feel like royalty. Bhanu ji and his staff too really good care of us . All in all a truly memorable experience! A must if you get the chance !

Warmest of hospitality, fabulous views, understated, arty interiors and taste of living inside India’s only living fort. Loved our stay at Killa Bhawan. Will definitely stay here again. Must try the traditional breakfast of kachori and dal pakwan. Bhanu ji is the perfect host.
