I had very high hopes staying here, but it was the worst decision I had made. The location is absolutely beautiful, however the customer service and food quality was such a big disappointment. First thing I felt some doubts was on the way to the resort on the catamaran. Not one single drink was offered at the pier ( though it had a bar ), nor on the catamaran. I was expecting to receive at least a bottle of water for what we have paid. I later found out with my friend who boarded on the 10am trip, and they were served drinks. Why is there a difference in service? As soon as we arrived to the resort, we went to have breakfast. We waited 15 minutes for someone to come get our order. During the 15 minutes I put my hand up for attention, made eye contact with the servers, but everyone ignored me. Their first priority was cleaning the tables. One server even told me that he will be back to get my order, but then forgot and went back cleaning tables and didn't return. I also noticed that guests who had been seated after us were served water. We didn't even get a glass of water for the first 20 minutes. Even when being taken our order, the server's voice language was very rude. I told my butler about my experience, and later on his manager came to talk to me. The first thing he said was't an apology, it was an excuse, that they were missing 2 people at the restaurant that morning, therefore it was busy. Does that matter to the guests? Just because they were missing staff, doesn't mean the guests have to understand their circumstances and have a bad experience. How much do you think we are paying for a night? For dinner we made a reservation at the Italian restaurant since they told us that it is the most popular one, and that one of the chef used to work at a MICHELIN restaurant in Italy. The food was not good. Some lacked seasoning, the pastas were over boiled. And the customer service was yet again horrible. By the time it was 21:15, we were the last guests there. Closing time is 22:00. As soon as we were the only ones left, they started to prepare to close down setting the other tables for the next day. It would have been fine if they would have still attended us asking for more drinks, or even dessert. Instead, nobody cared for us, and they were chatting to each other and causing a lot of noise with the cutlery. Though we still had food and hadn't ordered dessert, we felt the pressure to leave. I couldn't believe how poorly we were treated. The customer service of F&B at this resort was just like at fast food chains. The food we ordered at MERCADO was disgusting. One of the worst food I have had at a resort. You can tell how bad it is just by looking at the photo. The only people I want to thank at this resort is Kembly at the cafe, and Bryan from the entertainment team. When I posted my experience on my instagram, I received a few people saying they had similar bad experiences at this resort. For what I have paid, it was not wort
