Hotel Villa Cecilia

Me and my friend went to Ischia for the film festival. I chose this place firstly for the location because of its close proximity to the castle. Then because breakfast was included, which was a very good selection, which offered excellent value for money, if just for the coffee alone. The traditional set up and being family run really appealed to me and everyone was so so helpful and friendly.....from the girls at breakfast to the night staff and everyone in between. Francesco was super friendly and fun and Rafael went above and beyond for us to get to another part of the island and mama for translating messages! . I had a single room, which was just perfect for me. No aircon wasn't a problem as you can leave the window open and with the the ceiling fan made the room really airy. It's much nicer than artificial air con. I loved how you could hire a beach towel for as little as 4€ for someone travelling very light. Having the fridge in the room was great to keep drinks cold. The shower was very nice with wonderful pressure. I would 100% choose this hotel again. I booked direct with the hotel and communication was super and everything was so easy. Thanks again to all the staff/owners for the hospitality and making us feel so so welcome. Hope to return soon!

The family running the hotel has managed to crete an atmosphere that makes Villa Cecilia stand out. Everyone is so helpful and kind and they go out of their way to make you feel at home. The rooms are pretty basic, but cosy and good for the price. Also loved the hotel garden!

La posizione dell’ Hotel villa Cecilia è ottima: 10 passi per avere i piedi sulla sabbia. Personale gentile e cortese, molto disponibile. Colazione semplice e con non troppa scelta, ma quel che proponevano era tutto buono e fresco. Le camere un pó datate ma assolutamente pulitissime e confortevoli, i bagni dispingono anche di phon. Asciugamani, lenzuola e coperta pulitissimi e profumatissimi. Assolutamente consigliato!

Ogni volta che torniamo ad Ischia la nostra scelta ricade immancabilmente su questa splendida struttura. L'hotel è in una posizione strategica per il raggiungimento a piedi sia del centro che di alcune spiagge. Struttura impeccabile dal punto di vista della pulizia. Il personale è professionale, ma allo stesso tempo accogliente e caloroso. Consigliato per chiunque voglia passare una splendida vacanza in questa isola verde! Un solo avviso, partite consapevoli che una volta stati in questo hotel, non riuscirete ad andarvene senza averci lasciato un pezzetto di cuore. Con la promessa di ritornare. Barbara e Fabio

Accueil très agréable, personnel très avenant. Nous avons trouvé ce lieu très charmant, à l’écart du brouhaha ambiant, ce qui nous a permis de bien nous relaxer. Si nous n’avions pas eu qu’à passer une nuit sur l’île pour en découvrir ses richesses, nous aurions avec grand plaisir prolongé notre séjour dans cet hôtel.

Esperienza molto positiva in tutto, dallo staff gentile, cordiale, disponibile, alla colazione abbondante e varia, alla reception 24 ore su 24, alla posizione strategica tra Ischia porto e Ischia Ponte. Siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti in tutto e sicuramente ci ritorneremo. Mi sento di consigliare vivamente questa struttura a chiunque voglia trascorrere una piacevole vacanza ad Ischia.
