Although I mistakenly booked the stay for the same day while making the reservation in the evening — meaning the check-in time had already passed by about four hours and I am quite far away in PAI (leaving next day to Mae RIM). Since it was a non-refundable, no-show booking, I initially thought I had lost it. However, Paul, the reception manager, reached out by email to ask what time I would be arriving. I explained my mistake, letting him know I had meant to book for the following day. To my surprise and gratitude, they kindly adjusted my reservation at no extra charge. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by lush greenery and filled with tranquil natural sounds. The cleanliness was outstanding. The huts are very nice. The toilet and shower were stylish, modern, and spotless. I had a very comfortable stay, and the breakfast was of excellent quality. (Attached are un-edited photos taken by mobile)

Ôi trời ơi... đường đến CR Farm Stay dài ngoằn ngoèo quá!! Có lúc còn thấy chóng mặt nữa. NHƯNG, tôi rất thích chuyến đi vì đó là một cung đường tuyệt đẹp mà tôi không được thấy ở nhà. Khi đến nơi (căn phòng tôi đã chọn), mọi lời phàn nàn đều tan biến! Quang cảnh thật ngoạn mục, không khí trong lành nhất mà tôi có thể hít thở, không khí mát mẻ nhất khiến tôi bình tĩnh lại và bản giao hưởng của thiên nhiên thì TUYỆT ĐẸP! THÍCH QUÁ! Phòng nhỏ ấm cúng, nhà vệ sinh khá ổn (có lẽ bạn nên vệ sinh kỹ hơn một chút, hoặc dùng thuốc tẩy gốc thực vật 😅😬). Nhưng quang cảnh thì mọi thứ đều chấp nhận được! hehe Nhân viên rất thân thiện và đúng giờ khi giao bữa tối và bữa sáng cho tôi! Amazing place, looks even better than the pictures. The views are amazing, the service is top. It is a little difficult to get to but worth it. The design is so well thought out and includes everything you need. It was so quiet and peaceful, very comfortable and lovely amenities. I made a request for something nice for us and they went all out with beautiful rose decorations. It was so thoughtful and made it extra special. I’d love to return back here.

The hotel is beautiful, but it's built on a mountainside, so the buildings you need are spread out on a very steep road, so it's not easy to move around it. There are golf buggies that take you from place to place if you call them, but having to ask for a vehicle every time you want to go and eat or leave is quite annoying. The distances are walkable, but not if you have mobility issues. The pavements are also in far worse condition than the roads, so you end up walking on the roads and having to keep jumping out the way of the passing vehicles. Photos are attached of the view of the very steep road going up next to our balcony to show an example of the scale of the steepness. The location is remote. Apparently taxi apps like Grab and Bolt do not work here, although we did manage to quickly book a Bolt to take us here from Chiang Mai centre. A car and driver can be hired from the hotel for 2500 baht for 4 hours. I wouldn't recommend visiting if you don't have your own vehicle, as there is nothing nearby you can walk to. On check-in, the hotel said they offered room service, but there were no menus in the rooms. The room cleaning was slow if you are on a higher floor - on our 2 days, they didn't manage to visit all morning despite us leaving the ”please clean room” sign on the door. I found out later that you can ring reception to ask your room to be prioritised. The restaurant is expensive compared to central Chiang Mai, and they recommend that you reserve a table every night you want to eat there, but the food was good. Service was a bit chaotic. On the night we arrived, at 5:30 pm, reception told us they had reserved a table for us. But when we went to the restaurant, that did not seem to be the case, and we were taken to an unreserved table in a loud and echoey room. I then had to go up and ask to order as no-one came, and then the order was missing items when it did arrive. Randomly on the grounds near the lobby, there is a parrot in a tiny cage compared to its size with no entertainment, hardly any plants, and barely anywhere to perch. It's really sad to see.

Khách sạn thật tuyệt vời. Tôi thực sự thích kỳ nghỉ của mình. Khách sạn có tầm nhìn ra cây xanh tuyệt đẹp và rất yên bình. Nơi hoàn hảo để thư giãn và tận hưởng kỳ nghỉ của tôi. Tất cả nhân viên đều rất thân thiện và chuyên nghiệp. Họ có nhiều chương trình thú vị mà tôi có thể tham gia. Đồ ăn cũng tuyệt vời, đặc biệt là tôi thực sự thích đồ ăn Thái của họ. Rất khuyến khích bạn thử dịch vụ mát-xa của họ.

I really loved the service at NJ Homestay. Although the staff may not speak or understand English very well, we managed just fine using Google Translate. Our room’s toilet did give us some trouble during our stay — the water heater wasn’t working at first, and later the toilet had flushing issues, which continued throughout the two nights we were there. That said, I want to give a special shoutout to the staff, who were always patient and helpful, never hesitating to assist us with unclogging the toilet or checking the heater whenever there was a problem. The location isn’t the most convenient since it’s up in the mountains, but having a private driver made a big difference. Breakfast was included and it was great. As for cleanliness, it was acceptable considering the homestay is located in a mountainous area — some bugs are expected, and roosters start crowing as early as 3:30 a.m. Overall, the beautiful views, peaceful atmosphere, fresh air, and friendly staff and locals (Chiang Mai people are generally very warm and welcoming) made the stay worthwhile. I would definitely visit again.

Được coi là tốt, bầu không khí tốt. Nước nóng sử dụng gas, view đẹp, thời tiết mát mẻ. Có buffet sáng ngon miệng. Được coi là ấn tượng Cánh cửa có thể hơi khó mở và đóng do tuổi thọ của nó. It's a comfortable resort with sports facilities which we can use for free. Recommend to bring your own equipment. There is a gym room (although dated), two tennis courts, indoor badminton and pickle ball courts, squash courts, a snooker and a pool. We like to swim in the big swimming pool. The room is spotlessly clean. The mattress is too soft for me. The staff is helpful and nice. The buffet breakfast is simple but delicious. They provide Asian cooked dishes like rice, fried meat with vegetables. Also corn flakes with milk, toast, fruits and vegetable salad.
