Tastefully appointed, STOP PRESS: BRAND NEW DECK (completed Nov 2022)., you will love this simple yet charming house. Why not escape to this pristine beach paradise for a short break? Emerald Beach House has a great location set up above the street and is very close to the surfing beach and less than 20minutes north of Coffs Harbour. The house is beautifully presented, clean and well maintained, with lovely coastal views.The enormous deck (Nov 2022) showcases our panoramic views of the beach and coastline and has plenty of space for sunbathing, lounging and dining. See the photos - currently being updated for the new space. Accommodation is on the one level, although there are two flights of steps up to the house from the street. The living and dining areas are generous and a reverse cycle air-conditioner and fan will keep you comfortable. We have 2 bedrooms, 2 toilets and a shower as well as a large laundry with washing machine and ironing facilities for guest use.The main bedroom has a queen size bed and the large second bedroom has twin beds and a foldout ottoman - it can comfortably accommodate up to 3 children or 2 adults. Each bedroom, and the living area, are fitted with a ceiling fan.The fully-fenced rear garden is accessed through the tiled laundry. An outside shower is available to wash off sand and saltwater. Our part-time manager uses the small completely separate flat on the lower level. As well as the main surfing beach, there's a large leash-free area of the beach for dogs so you can book a holiday for the whole family!Emerald Beach is a small village less than 20 minutes north of Coffs Harbour. along the Pacific Highway. It has two great restaurants, takeaway store, a pizza/pasta place, hole in the wall cafe, general store, hairdresser and bottle shop. Welcome to Emerald Beach! Perfect for families and small groups at a price point that is intentionally great value. With 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom this is a perfect getaway, business trip, or cozy home base while exploring the north coast. Situated a short drive from beaches, walking trails, rainforests, Sandy Beach or Woolgoolga, Moonee Beach, shopping, restaurants and more!Features include a fully equipped kitchen, coffee machine, seasonal fruit, washing machine, reverse cycle air condition, linen and so much more. There is a welcome guide for guests which includes suggestions about places to visit, activities to do and places to eat and much more. The apartment is under the main house. We have made a number of improvements to soundproof the noise from above, however, you will hear some noise. We are very conscious about making your stay as comfortable as possible. The apartment is completely seperate from the main house and has a private entry and no access by the owner once inside.The spaceLocated on a large, semi-rural block of land which gives the feeling of being in the country, yet you're only a few minutes from the beach, waterfall trails, restaurants and shopping. On one side is the sea and on the other is native forests. There is an abundance of wildlife, from native birds to wallabies, possums and lizards. Close to the highway making it convenient and easy to find without the noise.Inside, you'll find a bowl of fresh fruit upon arrival. There is a coffee machine, tea, instant coffee, milk and some cooking essentials. The apartment is spacious, comfortable and homely with features to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The main room has a queen-sized bed while the other has a bunk bed with a single bed on top and double bed underneath. Upon request, there is a porta cot and fold out bed. There are books and games for both kids and adults alike for rainy days. Beach towels, umbrella, seats, pillows and buckets and shovels are included for when you visit the beach. Ceiling fans have been installed in every room and there is an air-conditioner for maximum comfort.There is a trampoline outside for the kids to play on and a swing for babies and toddlers. Outdoor table and chairs to help you relax. The outside is natural bushland and has an abundance of native birds and wildlife. Our aim is to turn the property into a semi-farm stay with chickens, bees and a vegetable patch to offer guests fresh produce when they stay. We hope to have better outside amenities in the future including a BBQ area and utilisation of the balcony.The nightly rate is inclusive of cleaning and all we ask is that the apartment be left clean and tidy when you leave.Guest accessA lock box is used for access. The code will be shared closer to the time of arrival.The unit is on the ground floor; however the driveway is steep and not suitable for anyone in a wheelchair. The property is unfenced so children may need supervision when outside.Interactions with GuestsAlthough my family and I live in the house upstairs, we prefer to leave guests to enjoy their stay without any interruption from us. The apartment space is completely private. Having said that, my Husband and I are only a message or phone call away should you need anything. You will likely not see her as she spends most of her time with us upstairs or doing her favourite thing which is going for walks on the beach :) In the unlikely event that you should meet her, she is large and will likely bark to alert us that there is someone she doesn't know on the property.
