May 2024 – Booked for 1 night, stayed for 3 We booked a junior suite at this hotel and we were not disappointed. Very clean and freshened up daily. The room had a living area with fridge, decent bathroom and mezzanine bedroom, very tastefully decorated. The staff made a point of cleaning the room while we were at breakfast, which was smart. Each day, we were provided with a bottle of water. The breakfast was excellent. Instead of putting out all of the food at once, it was laid out and restocked as needed. Everything was fresh and tasty. The orange juice was concentrate, which surprised me, but I found it to be the norm in Greece. This was self-service in a beautiful outdoor terrace area. The only thing lacking was a bar/café in the hotel, however, there were many of these close by. Beautiful views surrounding this hotel We were so smitten by Hydra and so comfortable in this hotel, that we increased our stay to 3 nights. Very friendly staff – we would definitely stay here on our next visit to Hydra. Hydra is very peaceful, no cars, bikes etc., , very, very beautiful.

We were traveling Europe for six weeks and initially had not planned to go to Hydra. However, after several of our friends raved about it we decided to go. This hotel is just like many reviews described it. Family run with a great staff, great location, and very comfortable rooms. There is a nice breakfast buffet. We quickly got up on the learning curve of turning the hot water circuit breaker on when we were within an hour of needing it and off when we left the room. We let the donkeys carry bags from the ferry when we arrived…because it was fun and the cobblestone street had a little incline to the hotel. We easily carried our luggage to the ferry when departing. The cobblestones have been worn very smooth over time. Highly recommend this hotel and island . We found the restaurants very reasonably priced and the whole atmosphere very relaxing for 3 days. Just a very memorable visit!!

Andres was great. Very helpful. Bath robes slippers lots of comfort. Beautiful terrace. Definitely worth it. Want to return!

We (wife, two late teen kids, and me) stayed here last week for four nights. We had two rooms, both of them with balconies. Very laid back, clean and friendly with a price that didn't break the bank (4 x people, 2 x rooms, and 4 x nights for €800, including breakfast). It was our first time on this "vehicle and bike free" island. It was very quiet and a lot of the shops and restaurants were closed, but with some great views. We could have got a mule to take us and our bags to the hotel from the ferry at the port, but it was only ten minutes walking, so it didn't bother us. One point I would make, is that a little printed sheet (in maybe Greek and English) with what was available for breakfast, would save a lot of time (and also some embarrassment for the two helpfully greek ladies serving the tables) I the morning. Though I do not mean this as a complaint, but more of a suggestion that they may consider, which could streamline things. It's only a small hotel, but it has a big heart, and we have no hesitation recommending it to other travellers

Lovely little hotel. Nice balcony, decent breakfast at an affordable price. Recommend coming to Hydra in the off-season.

Lovely property about 10 mins walk from the port area. The room was clean & comfortable. Staff were friendly and professional. Breakfast was enjoyable in a covered courtyard. We had hoped for a room with a balcony but had a terrace shared with the neighbouring room so no privacy when sitting/relaxing outside. But a very nice stay and Hydra is well worth a visit.

Beautifully designed hotel, very clean and comfortable, excellent breakfast. A relaxing, calm oasis, we really enjoyed our stay here. The entrance is hard to see: look for the sign on your right, beige sign high up on beige wall.

I experienced a very warm friendly welcome, everything was exceptional.
Very close to the port, just a short walk up the hill. Close to all amenities just a short stroll away Hydra is stunning a wow factor.
