This was a beautiful, modern cabin, which was very clean and in a great location to visit the golden circle, and see the northern lights. The self check-in was very easy and convenient.

We loved the location and the sites we wanted to see on the golden circle route were within an hours drive. The heated floors were nice to have during our Winter visit and the kitchen had the things we needed to prepare our meals. The doggie visits were fun and they are very sweet. The property was clean and we enjoyed our stay.

Great location to watch the Aurora and explore southern Iceland. Selfoss is a nice little town with grocery stores and restaurants 20 min away. The standalone room was very nice, super comfortable and well equipped. Beautiful views, all around, very quiet and peaceful.

Amazing property . Already planing the next trip back , home from home and amazing shower and bed . Bice to come home on a dark evening after a long day and just relax . Kitchen was so well kitted out . It saved so much been able to cook on an evening

Had a great stay here. By far the biggest room we had in Iceland. Communication was great from the owners and check-in/check-out was seamless. Best views of the night sky we had during our trip. If you're looking for peace and quiet, you'll get it here. If I'm being honest, there was a bit of a smell in our bathroom, but I'm guessing this is because it's a septic system. Not uncommon and it wasn't overwhelming.

This was among our favourite stays during our 2 weeks in Iceland. Absolutely gorgeous countryside location without light pollution to see the aurora from our private deck. The cabin was spacious, immaculately clean, and had everything we needed to cook dinner and store groceries (good size fridge and all the kitchen equipment one could possibly need). The heated flooring was delightful - especially after staying out in the cool evening to view the aurora. There are dogs and sometimes puppies on the property, which are extremely friendly and good tempered. We hope to return to Iceland someday and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!!

This was our favorite property on our tour of the ring road. The home was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The towels were larger than any other place and softer. The site was easy to operate and the water pressure was great. Best of all, there were two pillows for each of us.

Beautiful, quiet, and well maintained property. It was right in the middle of everything we were looking to do. You have all the necessities in a small, extremely functional place. The property's ambassadors, Mói and Katla are the best. They are the property owners' dogs, and are extremely friendly. We looked forward to seeing them every day. Would definitely come back and stay longer.

We loved Heima Holiday Homes! The check-in was easy and the home was perfect for our needs! We loved that the bathroom floor was heated and the amenities of the home. Parking was convenient. Would definitely recommend stay there.

The property was amazing! The views, the decor of the houses, very kid friendly! There were 2 very friendly dogs that kids played with. The house had everything family needs. Very warm house and very chic design. Comfortable beds. Kitchen was very well equipped. Owner suggested visiting township pool With kids while waiting for check-in since we arrived early. We enjoyed warm pool and sauna in town nearby.

We loved this property! The owners were perfect (they went above and beyond when we needed them for a very minor medical concern, but did not interfere otherwise), the accommodations were as advertised, the room was comfortable and cozy, and the dogs made the place seem like home. It was a bit snug for a family of four, but it was so comfortable that we were all happy. The big shower and bathroom with heated floor was nice for drying out hiking gear, and it honestly heated the entire space (in June we turned off all other heat and opened windows). How can you not feel happy when you are staying in an idyllic place like this and look out and see adorable dog faces begging you to come outside to play with them?!
