The unit is decorated in island style with a king size comfortable bed, flat screen TVs in the living room and bedroom, and a fully equipped kitchen. What’s really nice is at Lido you can park your car and walk (or bike) as everything you need is nearby. It’s not uncommon for our guests to Uber in for the week.Like the outdoors? Lido has parks on the north and south end and the kayak park is two blocks away. The beach is a block away and we provide beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler. Hungry? It’s a 5 minute walk to famous St. Armand’s Circle with 15+ restaurants and upscale boutique shopping. Our favorite spots are at Tommy Bahamas restaurant watching the crowds go by while sipping a martini or on the patio at the Columbia with a pitcher of cava sangria made table side.Night on the town? Enjoy beautiful downtown Sarasota’s fine dining, theater, opera, ballet, art galleries, antique shops, and museums or just pass the time while strolling the shops of downtown Sarasota. Nestled behind the dunes is this hidden gem and slice of paradise. 2nd Fl unit with all the comforts of home, and recently updated with new paint, furniture, flooring, and ceiling fans. Spend your days at the #1 beach in the US or explore all there is to do in Siesta Key Village, Sarasota, St. Armand’s Circle, Lido key and Longboat Key.Beach chairs are provided for our guests at the beach - Umbrellas, beach towels, beach wagon and cooler are in the unit. The community has a pool, shuffleboard and a Laundromat (located on ground floor). High speed internet, cable TV and smart TVs in all of the rooms. There is a charcoal grill located out front of the bldg, as well as common area table/umbrella space for hanging out. Full kitchen including a dishwasher and microwave for those nights you want to stay in, Keurig, as well as drip coffee makers (byo Kcups), and sheets and bath towels will be provided to our guests. There are 2 bedrooms, the first with a king bed, and the second with a queen and single bed.There is parking in front of the unit, but you can get around the Key using the Free Trolley system that runs from from 9:00 a.m til 10:00 p.m every 15 minutes. There are other free methods of transportation too that you can contact for pick-up (tips appreciated). And of course, Uber is always an option. Our beautiful condo boasts all the conveniences of your own home. A welcome respite awaits you with our freshly renovated kitchen, updated baths, very high quality furnishings, 70" led TV in living room, 46" led tv's in each bedrooms with free wifi and multiple movie channels, 3 furnished patios and luxury linens for all beds. Our condo is a very large unit at nearly 1400 square feet. Bedroom 1 has a king size bed, bedroom 2 has 2 single beds and living room has a queen size pull out sofa. The Bay Oaks resort is set amidst lush, tropical foliage on the Intracoastal Waterway, directly across from the Gulf of Mexico and world-famous Crescent/Siesta Beach with its soft, cool, sugar-white sand. Siesta Beach recently earned the title as the #1 Best Beach in America for 2011. Enjoy shelling, jogging, windsurfing, beach volleyball, or just sunning on this beautiful beach. The main entrance being a short 1 min away by car (1 mile). Convenience stores and several great dining establishments are only a short stroll to the hidden treasure of Siesta Key Village. You can also hitch a free ride (tips appreciated) to Siesta Key Village where a wide range of shopping and dining fun awaits. Or, hop in your car and explore the local attractions of Sarasota and St. Armand's Circle. By car, many excellent local golf courses await those who like to hit the links. Public beach access is a short 1/4 mile away with plenty of parking and shops and multiple beach access points are all along Midnight Pass Road. Beach Access: - The main “public access” parking lot is a very short 1-2-minute drive from our unit. You can either take a “free” taxi or the Trolly Service directly from the front of our complex or use your own vehicle. You would simply make a right upon exiting the parking lot at bay Oaks and head north for about 1/3 mile or two traffic lights and the main entrance is on your left side.Beach Access: Walking option- the closest walking access to our unit is “Beach Access 12” which is located 0.7 miles south on Midnight Pass Rd.. It is approximately an 8-10 min walk. If you prefer not to walk, the trolly and taxi service is free on the Island. The trolly runs very often (usually every 10 min.) and stops right next to our complex entrance. The main public beach (Siesta Key Beach) is approximately 1/2 mile (2 traffic lights) heading north on Midnight Pass Rd.Serenity abounds in calm, aqua waters and miles of the most exquisite quartz crystal sand. Charter boats, fishing equipment, jet ski rentals, kayak/paddleboard rentals, para-sailing, and bike rentals are all available across the street. For the convenience of our guests, we provide all the items needed for the beach including a beach cart, umbrella, chairs, beach toys, and towels.
