About this spaceWe are new to this website as of January 2022 but have been hosting guests and have a super host status on another booking site for many years.Beachfront studio( standalone) situated in front of a surf break in Te Awanga. We have just completely renovated upstairs mid October 22. An open plan studio with decks both sides, the kitchen kitchen is new and has a full oven , gas hob, rangehood, F&P dishdraw, microwave etc , also a Nespresso coffee machine , webber bbq on the seaside deck, all linen supplied is including dressing gowns to laze on the deck and take in the sunrise. A heatpump and new smart TV complete the package along with free wifi.Separate bathroom below accessed from outside.( for your own private use only)We are situated a quick walk to wineries, a bike hire is near by, and safe swimming opposite along with surfing and fishing .We are situated on the cycle track .If you are looking for a private and relaxing space in front of the ocean, close to local amenities with the added bonus of fabulous views put this on your must stay list.The spaceUnobstructed views of the ocean, option of an additional outdoor hot shower in the garden to rinse off after a swim or surf in the ocean should you like to use it .Guest accessParking is roadside by the pond opposite .Other things to noteThe bathroom is at the bottom of the stairs and access is external. Stairs to the studio are reasonably steep and may not suit someone with hip or knee issues. We haven't had people have issues with this over the years but want to make sure it isn't an issue for you , we want nothing more than for you to be happy with your stay.Please note we have a security camera operating this covers our main entrance and garage and this is purely for security . We want to welcome you to our cosy studio, with a wonderful view of the Taradale hills set on a 2-acre lifestyle property. It is situated next to the main house, with only a short walk along the front lawn bringing you to your own private entrance. Off-street parking for your personal car with a garage available for vintage cars/motorbikes/bikes etc. There is a small storage shed for bikes etc by the studio. The studio contains a queen bed with an electric blanket for the winter. Small TV provided and wi-fi available. Small kitchenette area with table/chairs, small fridge, air fryer, electric frying pan, microwave, toaster and jug. Bathroom with shower and toilet. We also have 3 lovely rescue donkeys Minnie, Loo Loo and Peter. If you would like to meet them during your stay please let us know and we can take you for a visit. We live on-site and work from home, so we are often available for questions and are happy to help you over a cup of coffee. If you are here for a particular event we would be glad to drop off and pick-up, if available, to do so.Beauty therapist also on site. We are close to Taradale, Napier city and handy to Hastings, Havelock North which brings with them, many wineries/ good food, attractions, beaches, and cycle tracks. Please note extra cleaning procedures will be taken place between visitors. Our studio/flat is attached to our home but completely separate and private with its own entrance and car parking and is only a mere stroll across the road to beach. We built our beach house 11 years ago so you will find the purpose built flat modern in design and perfect for a beach escape. It consists of an open plan dinning/kitchenette, separate bedroom with a comfy queen sized bed and a separate spacious bathroom.Walk across the road and enjoy a dip in a safe swimming beach, relax with a spot of fishing or make the most of Te Awanga's famous surf break when its pumping.We are within a 3km radius of: Clearview Estate, Te Awanga Estate and Elephant Hill.
