Hotel Remember

I spent just over a week at Hotel Remember. A green homely oasis in the heart of Hikkaduwa. I was greeted by the friendly husband and wife hosts on my arrival who made me feel welcome from the very first minute and throughout my stay. The basic but very clean room looked straight out over the main surf break with big sliding double glazed windows. I had a wrap around balcony to soak up the beautiful sunrise and sunsets! The rooms are comfortable and very competitively priced! I opted for air-con which was faultless and extremely quiet! The owners / hosts could not do enough for me, going so far as to personally give me a lift to pick up a hire surfboard. On my last day the hosts came back to the hotel at midnight to make sure I caught my taxi to the airport safely! I had a wonderful experience during my stay, made unforgettable due to the very personal, caring and friendly atmosphere provided by this lovely family. I can’t wait to return later in the year!

We did not sleep there, but we did eat at the restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious! We loved the spicy dahl nuts they gave us. Suggestion: order the curry! The staff is very friendly too and prices are very low. You can play board games there too.
