Good stay considering its location. Clean, decent sized room, and have all the necessary amenities. Would stay again if I were to revisit the area.

這是一家很有品味服務非常好的酒店，在酒店可以眺望遠處的雪山，早餐品質好，晚餐的煎羊排和素食餐的味道非常棒非常好！前台和餐廳工作人員非常和善，當夜晚極光出現前台及時通知我們去户外觀賞極光。如果下次再來冰島，希望住蘭德酒店！

挺好的，房間夠大，早餐也不錯，在曠野裏，開車的話很方便，有個公共open空間很適合做瑜伽

酒店位置非常偏遠，入住後先發現原來依間酒店係適合登山同追極光！戶外愛好者必須要來。酒店有桑拿，又有溫泉，但入住時，佢話五日前有強風整壞咗啲設備，所以無機會試。

First they didn’t call us to see the northern lights although we asked for the northern lights alert . We have 4 rooms and they allege only one . When my daughter asked them to call my room they didn’t have the number . maybe we lost the only opportunity we will have in our lives to see it . Breakfast is poor . Only place in the trip without salmon as an exemplo . Reception with no training. When we complained about the call she just said they called ( what is a lie ) and was very sarcastic . Hot tube was’t available . Food sucks . Worst hotel in my 14 days trip in Iceland and one of the most expensive. Don’t go !!!!!!

This was the most expensive and worst hotel of my whole trip. The breakfast was terrible, the dinner as well (clearly processed supermarket food, fries came wrong). The room was nothing special and the bathroom as well and we asked to be advised of northern lights and were not, leading to loosing the chance of our lives of seeing it since we are from Brazil. We complained and the service person was rude and careless.

So, yes, the Landhotel is in the middle of nowhere. If you are on a chartered bus like we were, that means you have to eat at the hotel. Be sure to make dinner reservations when you check in! The food is expensive (5,700 Króna for a chicken breast meal), but very tasty. The breakfast buffet was OK, but the scrambled eggs were the blandest I have ever had. Honza at the front desk provided exceptional service to our group. The only issue our group had was figuring out how to get into our rooms. It is a difficult maneuver twisting the knob to the left and then pushing in until you get the hang of it. I noticed that there were instructions on how to unlock your room at the front desk, but not very visible. I would definitely stay here again, as it was quite relaxing.

We drove through a driving rainstorm after landing at Keflavik to begin our 10 night/9 hotel treck through Iceland. We weren’t in the best of moods after that journey, but found the hotel instantly welcoming to us. The service at front desk was so good that the clerk accompanied us to our room to show how the unusual unlocking system worked. We had a top floor room, as requested, with a view toward Mt. Hekla. Couldn’t see it due to the weather conditions, and also had to park car away from hotel by at least 50 meters. In this weather, with the wind, it was uncomfortable. Keep in mind this stay was in late June, so the summertime can provide weather challenges too. The room was modern and comfortable, WiFi good, and breakfast buffet had everything we like, including smoked salmon, and more. The hotel is remotely located, but if visiting Haifoss the next day, it’s a strategic place to be.

Apart from a greenhouse and some geothermal equipment, this is a hotel in the middle of nowhere. The upstairs dining room has a magnificent view in all directions, and a glass fenced balcony. Although excessively bare, the rooms are not bad.The bed is fairly firm, though rather spoiled by a soft- top mattress and the usual lack of upper sheet.The curtains are opaque , but need a lot of work to be made to fit adequately for blackout. There is no bath ( even in a place of such plentiful water), but at least there is an actual full enclosure for the shower, and a meagre but usable basin. Both breakfast and dinner were good- beware the premature breakfast clearing, though!

The location is amazing. You have horses all around and totally stunning view on vulcano Hekla from your room. The breakfast is included and they have make your own pancakes station. Dinner was excellent and staff was very professional and nice. Bed is super comfortable. Believe me you can not have better hotel in the middle of nature with such amazing service than is Landhotel.
