Burdett House Bed & Breakfast

This is the best B&B I have ever stayed at. Eight friends shared this experience and all loved our stay and we are very picky about our yearly get together. Ashley and Dave made our stay the best ever in our many years of get togethers. Breakfast was extraordinary, rooms were perfect. The location was close to many wineries and breweries all with fantastic views. Go treat yourself, you will not regret going

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. This house was built in the 1800's and it is impeccably maintained. We have stayed at a few other B&B's in the area and this was by far the best. The room was perfect, comfortable bed and pillows, nice big closet with a light of course as no detail is not taken care of here! The bathroom had a great shower and was spacious. Breakfast was delicious, with great choices.

My wife and I stayed in the excelsior room and it was fantastic! The patio and enjoyable view, the comfortable bed and the great bathroom. The bed 15/10 and the breakfast 20/10! Hand crafted recipes that you can tell were made with love and experience. Located near beautiful watkins Glen and the vineyards! With great recommendations from our accommodating host! We had a fantastic time. Able to go to the beautiful state park and plenty of wines and cheeses! A must stay place if you are traveling near the finger lakes.

I love the house and the hosts! They are very helpful in helping you plan activities and they are very kind, loving people. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. We always do the extra packages, and it is worth it. Breakfast is delicious This is our second trip and we will return.

Ashley and David were amazing hosts every moment we spent in their company. Our time with Ashley, was filled with good conversation, laughter, and sipping wine, of course, considering we are in wine country, as we sat around their perfect wood burning fire pit, with other house guests. We enjoyed two very delicious home cooked breakfast foods with good coffee. David was kind and friendly as our most gracious breakfast host. They are tremendous hosts and lovely people. And, what a lovely home! Inside there was the beauty and splendor of its old world charm with lots of light. It felt fresh, clean and it was full of comforts we can all appreciate. The amenities were great. We stored our wine, cheese, and other goodies in their refrigerator. And the snacks, water, and tea they left out did come in handy at night. Outside was a wrap around covered porch which was comfortable and quiet for a good read, and the very spacious, well manicured backyard where we sat under the stars which was a wonderful sight to see. Hands down when we return to Watkins Glen, we shall be staying with Ashley and David at Burdett House!

This is our 6th time staying at the Burdett House! Ashley, Dave & Hudson are fantastic hosts! The rooms are immaculate. Their recommendations are spot on. We loved visiting the winery & breweries. We went to Tremaine State Park & walked the trails. The waterfalls were amazing. FYI! …best breakfasts ever! We will be back again!

The Burdett House was a perfect place to stay while visiting the Watkins Glen/ Finger Lakes area. Ashley and David were extremely hospitable offering outstanding breakfasts and great area advice on hiking and dining. Our room was very comfortable and immaculately clean and included a private porch

We stayed at the Burdett House a few weeks ago so we could attend an event in Watkins Glen. This is the second time we've stayed. Dave and Ashley contacted us before we arrived to see if we had any special needs and our Saturday event required that we leave earlier than the normal breakfast time. Their wonderful breakfast was ready in plenty of time. Very pleasant and relaxing. We are looking forward to the next time we visit!

The Victorian style house is elegant, well maintained and tastefully decorated. The room was comfortable and the bed was extremely comfortable. A large bathroom appointed in keeping with the style of the rest of the house was bright and clean. If you are not satisfied with the in-room TV and cable, or just wake earlier than your partner and need a room to read, watch TV or work on your laptop, a separate shared space with boardgames and another TV is available. The coffee and snack area is well stocked and very welcome if you have late night munchies or need those two or three cups of linkage coffee in the morning before breakfast, which is very convenient. High speed internet is available throughout. I have to mention the breakfasts that was truly excellent. Ashley and David are fantastic hosts and if you are lucky you may get to meet Hudson their puppy. I cannot recommend this enough. A true find for the area.
