Mallige Residency

Our overall experience at this property was good. As I mentioned in the title, keep the expectation low and you will not regret it. Pros: 1. The property is well located in Hassan, not in outskirts. If you want to get a feel as to how Bangalore was 30 years back, take a long walk after dinner to the nearby markets and interact with the local people. You will not be disappointed. 2. Helpful and cheerful staff. I interacted with Purshottam who helped us in pre-booking and checkin. Check-in/Check-out was quick 3. Good breakfast. We were skeptical after reading some of the not-so-good review comments about the breakfast(@basement, lack of spread etc). There was idli, vada, dosa, kharabhath , pineapple kesribhath,bread,omlet and eggs with tea,coffee and fresh juice for beverages. We very much liked it. 4. Decent room and importantly with clean washroom. Keep in mind this property is a 3* property not a 4 or 5*. 5. Have lunch served on plantain leaf at "Parijata"(attached to the restaurant). It was awesome. 6. Decent facilities for driver. Our cab-driver didn't have complaints. 7. Lastly, we could open the windows. That was a pleasant surprise. Hassan's climate is pretty cool in Jan. We didn't feel the need of AC. Cons: The only con was that our room was downgraded when we reached at the property. However we found the room decent, so no complaints as such.

I was on a vacation trip to Sakleshpur and stayed at “ Mallige Residency ”, Hassan for 2 nights . The idea to stay at Hassan was due to the fact it was equidistant from Belur, Halebeedu and Tourist spots of Sakleshpura. The reservations were done ahead of time Mr Puroshattam confirmed the booking on phone. The staff was prompt in addressing the queries of the reservation. Since we were a family of 4, so we needed 2 rooms . They provided us 2 rooms with road view and the best part was that , the rooms were connected rooms. The rooms were well made, with a Queen size bed, work/study table chair and a relaxing chair with a center table.. Well decorated lighting in the room made the room very cozy. In the room they had also provided a electric kettle and complimentary tea sachets, and water bottles. The room had AC as well as a TV with Tata sky working with it, though we never really used the TV. The bathroom was well done. Clean and with separate shower area with running hot/cold water . Our package also had complimentary breakfast which is organized in a separate area . The breakfast was wholesome and had a good spread , with breakfast items, like Bread, Eggs, Omlet, Idli, Vada, Dosa, Khara bhat , Kesri bhat, Tea Coffe and Juice. There is an attached restaurant with the hotel called Parijata, and we ordered dinner in our room from the restaurant. There is also a live-snacks counter attached to the hotel. They had a dedicated parking area for cars. Overall a good experience.

Stayed in this property for 3 days. Booked with lot of skepticism and least expectation, but when I checked out, wished stayed here for a bit more and no this is not an exaggeration. Pros: 1. Location - The property is well located with marketplace nearby but yet you will not find it crowded. Most people prefer staying in Hassan for Beluru and Haleebedu, and this perfectly fits the ask. 2. Rooms - Spacious, clean with windows which we can open (don't know when last, I have stayed in a hotel where windows can be kept open). Washroom is clean and have mostly all what one needs (don't expect exotic products cause this is not a 4 or 5 * property) 3. Service - Prompt and always with a "smile". Cons: 1. Food - Breakfast choices are limited, and they have arranged it in some kind of basement (perhaps because they serve eggs) Overall choices are limited, and they serve nonveg on particular days (not sure which days because we were ourselves confused) There is a big restaurant attached to the property, looked decent, but we didn't try and yes, they have a live chat counter near the entrance, perhaps operational only in evenings. One good gesture I liked is that they deliver days' newspaper in the room with handwritten name mentioned. Most hotels have stopped this long back. Overall, what I liked the most is the personalized touch in everything from reception to room service and this is sometimes missing from even branded properties. Will recommend if Hassan is where you are heading next.

Stayed overnight during a visit to extended family. Good, clean well maintained hotel and rooms at down to earth prices inclusive of yummy complimentary breakfast. The good location (just short distance off main highway) was topped off by the restaurant serving lip smacking food. Staff everywhere were polite and courteous too! Wish all hotels were like this…

We were planning to visit Sravanabelagola, Belur and Halebidu temples during the year-end time, and were looking for a reasonably priced accommodation. Based on good reviews we booked at Malige Resifency Hassan. It turned out to be a very good option. Ae we were four, we chose two double occupancy rooms with an interconnect. Rooms were very clean with all amenities. It seemed to be a new property. We had food at their in house restaurant Parijata, which was goood but was little crowded in the weekend. Thereafter we opetd for room service, food turnde out to be good with reasonably priced and delivered quickly. They have vareity og options on food. Also, complementary breakfast was good. Overall, it was great experience.

Always have to take into account where you are and priced paid, before writing a review. This hotel is basic, no doubt about that. But it does what it does, well. Service good. Rooms clean. Food really good. Not ***y options in Hassan and I recommend a visit as Belur and Halebid are amazing.

Very comfortable stay, i had very good experience right from booking to check out. Rooms are clean and neat. Service is good. The restaurant in the hotel is good and you get very good South/North Indian cuisines.

Un restaurant attaché à l hôtel Mallige R qui se nomme Pajirata, vous pourrez y ***ger Veg et le thali est correct. De nombreux touristes de passage choisissent cet hôtel _ cela permet de confronter les avis.. C est une bonne adresse pour Hassan (paiement CB à la réception de l hôtel et non au restaurant car leur appareil n accepte pas les cartes internationales.

我和我的家庭在這個酒店住了兩天，在這裏住的很愉快。優點：1、房間寬敞乾淨，房間打掃的不錯。2、酒店員工很熱情，耐心的回答我們的問題，告訴了我們附近的景點。3、食物不錯。4、有停車場可用。5、當WiFi不工作時，酒店員工立即為我們提供局域網絡。缺點：還沒有發現。
