Cameo Hotel and Suites

There are only 3 parking spots in front of the building to park while you unload your vehicle and these spots were occupied nearly the entire time. I had to park 2 blocks away and make 6 trips back and forth just to carry all of my belongings to my suite. This was a back breaking experience and i was sore for days. On top of that the side walks in front of the building were snow and ice covered which made for treacherous walking. I rented the premium penthouse suite because it had the balcony.. and it was covered in 2 feet of snow and there was no shovel to be able to clear off the snow. The bed and pillows were not very comfortable. I suggest taking your own pillows. The suite was clean and beautiful with a lovely view, and during my stay earplugs were provided on the bedside table thankfully because as they mentioned there is a lot of noise at night and that is definitely true. It’s like there were people on the street who had a loud mic pointed directly into our bedroom all night and vehicles constantly passing by reving their extremely loud exhausts. The earplugs provided little relief.

Stayed in a nice suite, it’s like a home away from home vibe. Easy check in. Walking distance to great food in the area. We stayed on the harbour side and we weren’t disappointed thanks Cameo Hotel and Suites for another great stay. I’ve found my favourite spot to stay

Parking., I was unsure where to find parking. Also no bath tub. It would have been nice to relax.

The service to text was quick, I arrived a day before I was originally supposed arrive and they were very accommodating. I would definitely stay again. Thanks Cameo for the great experience

I never got my final email. Never received a code and was forced to drive back 3.5 hours home after our trip to the city. No way to reach any one for help. Phone number did not connect. No internet contact was available at the time I needed it. (Might be available now). I’m just disappointed in the whole mess, losing my money on top of that is a lesson learned. Never again.

Very clean, very new, great room layout all for a reasonable price.

Party in the next room....smell of pot all through the whole floor.

Despite posting email and phone numbers on the website, the Cameo staff was unresponsive regarding issues with our stay. We tried several times to contact the hotel regarding a need to change our reservation. Our attempts at communication were all several days in advance of our originally scheduled arrival. No one picked up, returned calls, or emails. Finally, we called our booking company and told them to cancel, since we couldn’t reach Cameo. The booking company FINALLY was able to reach Cameo 24 hours before our scheduled arrival after trying for 2 days. Cameo’s response was to refuse a refund! When we responded that we would notify our credit card and dispute the charge, suddenly we are inundated with messages. Right. Can’t get in touch with you until after the deadline for refund was past then carry on at length trying to justify shady business practices.
