Very near the rail station.
Nice morning staff. She was multitasking.
Dated, cold room but clean. Water pressure super. Relaxing.
Complementary coffee, tea,and cookies
Night staff unhelpful with my simple taxi issue. I could have done a bank transfer right away since I am a hotel guest.
Morning lady staff allowed me to leave my stuff so I could walk around after check out.

Great location for Eureka and right opposite the railway station.
Very friendly staff and a few requests were made without any fuss.
Great choice for breakfast very good value.
Definitely stay there again.

Very dated rooms and facilities once out of the reception. Bathrooms could do with refurbishment. Window glass replaced with two bits that didn't fit to fill hole.

Comfortable bed,also clean. Bedroom rather stuffy.
No lift.
Near the railway station, which was useful for us.

This is our go to hotel in Halifax for to convenience and price.
Wish the cups in the rooms were bigger. Traffic signs are loud if you have the windows open and it's way too hot if you keep them closed. Catch 22. Ok for one night though. Parking was fine and customer service also fine.

Didn’t like advising they had a bar and restaurant which was closed you should not have to pay £100 deposit on arrival

I’m a single female traveller and having my room number announced our loud in front of a reception full of men is pretty disconcerting, and all hotel reception staff should know this is a big no no. Room was very old fashioned and tired, bed cheap with buttons and springs sticking through, and no hairdryer, also a lot of room noise and noise from other guests. It was clean though.

Very conveniently located near the railway station and key sights such as the medieval church and the famous Piece Hall - an immense square surrounded by a Georgian era colonnade with shops and restaurants.
