Pluses: Roomy. Fabulous views of hills, fields, sunrises, sunsets and highland cattle. Peaceful despite nearness to road. Gated entrance, so feels secure. Free car parking space. Fairly well equipped. Pine furniture. Handy for Haddington. Down sides: heating controlled by owner, broken bathroom radiator, no electric heaters or extra blankets available (even on request). Bathroom cold & damp, with black mould developing on the ceiling. Mattress cold and damp to lie on. Once the heating was turned up, the place was much more comfy and enjoyable. However not a comfy seat to sit on, despite this 14’x14’ cabin. Responsive owners, with partial & reluctant solutions.

Off the beaten track, accommodation in secure site. Lodge is basic but lovely views, which makes a very relaxing place. The owners are very pleasant and will help you with any problem. You get a welcome pack including 2 cans iron bru, milk and biscuits and sweets. You have a good wifi connection. The kitchen is fully equipped.
