Excellent Ocean views from our Room. Very clean.and mini bar was inclusive, and replenished daily, coffee only 2 capsules could do with more. Breakfast was good (very busy but mid-autumn Festival period so.expected), wide variety of both Chinese & European food. Negative points for a supposedly 5 star hotel, there is no food ordering room services, for breakfast, lunch, dinner, & late night snacks. You can order local takeaways and delivery to hotel lobby. No hotel car services available, even when requested 1-2 days in advance, had to use local Didi services.

To be quite honest when we booked this hotel for one night only we didn’t have very high hopes for it. However, the contrary happened. Hilton Zhoushan turned out to be amazing; literally from the first minute that we stepped in we were greeted warmly by front desk staff. They speak very good English and the GM was very nice; once he realised that it’s our little daughter’s first birthday they offered cake and candles. They also brought a nice crib for the baby. Every single staff member’s behaviour was professional and friendly and respectful. On the 19th floor we had an amazing view of the lake and the surrounding landscape. We had a great time and will definitely come back.

I had a wonderful stay at Banxia Banyin Hotel near Wugongshi Wharf and Guanyin Fajie. The location is excellent -- just a short walk from the pier and within easy reach of the main attractions on Putuo Mountain, such as Puji Temple and the scenic Guanyin statue. It's very convenient for both sightseeing and dining, with plenty of local vegetarian restaurants nearby. The hotel itself is peaceful and beautifully designed, blending modern comfort with a calm, Zen-like atmosphere. The rooms are clean, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated, offering a relaxing space after a long day exploring. The staff were polite and attentive, always ready to assist with directions or local recommendations. Check in and check out were smooth and efficient. Overall, it is great value for its location and comfort.

Service by the guy who picked us up from the airport is excellent. 10/10!!! Our luggage was damaged during the flight, he called someone to help us repair it. We were short on time for the ferry sailing to Mt Putuo due the weather conditions, that day sailings will be cancelled, (we got to chat in the van when he picked us up from the airport), he said we can just leave the luggages at the front desk and then hurriedly sent us to the port, good thing we made it. That's superb customer service!!! He didn't even want to get a tip, eventually we gave him some dried mango packs from the Philippines. The front desk guy though is a different story, he was super slow, did not know how to handle checking in of foreign passport holders I think. He has our passports and had to ask us our birthdays!! It was also difficult for him to understand the visa dates (expiry and issue dates), and he kept on asking when we arrived, it is just there stamped opposite the visa page, we just actually arrived that day, this is our first hotel. Anyway, free pick up from the airport is best and free sending to the port and then lastly also to the bus station. Great service.

It appears efficiency is a key at this hotel. Requests were actioned very promptly. Cleaning staff did a nice job. Room was a good size and mostly in good condition. Plenty of stains on the carpet in the room though, and the room entry door frame was partly torn away from the wall. Service was very good, though it was four days before any staff so much as smiled. Efficiency but not much in the way of warmth towards guests. While some rooms are non-smoking, most of the hotel seems fair game for smoking including halls, washrooms, elevators, etc. Cigarette butts to be found and smell throughout. Apparently the hotel must be very pet friendly given the dog that was brought into the restaurant at breakfast. Acceptable all around, but not sure I would opt for this hotel again.

Very friendly and helpful reception counter services. They were very patient to answer all your questions and it was free to keep your huge luggage in the reception counter before going in to PuTuaShan. And vegetarian lunch was available in the resort hotel restaurant at CNY39 per person. I would highly recommend to spend a night here and spend at least half a day to visit the Kuan Yin Fa Jie 普陀山观音法界. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The furnishing was new and looked fresh. 2 bottles of water and basic toiletories were provided (except shaver). Less than 10m walk to Wugongshi Wharf.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Lvcheng Zhujiajian Dongsha Hotel in Zhoushan, and it was an unforgettable experience. The serene atmosphere made it easy to unwind and escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. A side note, this hotel is connected to the Westin and guest could stroll through the grounds. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff greeted me with warm hospitality. They were attentive to my needs and provided helpful information about the hotel's services and nearby attractions. The room was tastefully decorated and well-appointed with modern amenities. I appreciated the comfortable bed and the well-designed bathroom. The room's balcony provided a lovely spot to enjoy the sea breeze and stunning sunsets. The hotel's dining options were diverse and satisfying. I particularly enjoyed the fresh seafood dishes served at the hotel's restaurant. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of choices, catering to different palates. The Lvcheng Zhujiajian Dongsha Hotel's on-site facilities were also impressive. The swimming pool was well-maintained, and the spa provided a delightful way to relax after a day at the beach. As mentioned earlier, the hotel's connection to the Westin added an extra layer of convenience. Guests could access additional amenities such as fitness centers, upscale dining venues, and more, creating a seamless blend of relaxation and indulgence. Overall, my stay at the Lvcheng Zhujiajian Dongsha Hotel was exceptional. The location has numerous spots for having meals. There were a lot of restaurants all mostly catering seafood dishes. Which I thoroughly enjoyed. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect beachfront escape in Zhoushan.
