The hotel is run down and needs refurbing. Our room was disgusting it was cleaned the full week we were there and all we got was fresh towels. The staff didn’t speak only the one man who greeted on arrival he was friendly and helpful. The internet cut out and didn’t reach our room. The breakfast is a small continental selection which didn’t look great the coffee machine was dirty like it hadn’t been cleaned for days. We ate out every day and barely spent anytime here was very disappointed with this hotel this is nowhere near a 3 star and I would advise no one to come here. There was mould in the shower and it hadn’t been cleaned once before we got there or during. Everything was dirty and the room was run down. There was even takeaway left in the fridge on arrival which stunk when you opened it.

Amazing stay, great views, close to all restaurants, bar street and beach, very friendly and helpful staff, rooms are all clean and tidied regularly. Would definitely recommend this hotel and stay again! We all had a great time at this hotel and we will all see you next year!

We have been visiting Gumbet for many years and usually go to one of the all inclusive hotels, this year we decided to try the Bagevleri. This is a family run hotel and you can tell, from day one we were all made to feel welcome by all staff. The rooms had plenty of space for us and the AC worked a treat with rooms being well kept. The pool area was just 25 steps from the room with plenty sun beds available and plenty options for shade, was appreciated with my burnt Scottish legs! The bar area was ideal and turned out a great place to relax with a few beers with the staff being attentive. With bar street also only a few steps away it’s ideal for a drunken stumble back to the room. All in all very pleased with our stay and have already booked up to return in October! Colin.

I came here on my own in July, this is probably the only hotel that I would ever come to alone, The staff and family go above and beyond to make your stay amazing. The pool is absolutely beautiful, with new sunbeds which are really comfortable, the rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. One of the best parts about this hotel for me is the bar, it is run by Peter and exceptionally clean. It is a half circle and everyone sits around the bar in the evenings, chatting and listening to the great music that he plays for all ages.. it’s THE place to be if you don’t fancy the craziness of Bar Street or even a great place to be to start your evening.. it really has a fabulous atmosphere! The food at this hotel is excellent., It is a B & B and the breakfast is a normal Turkish breakfast of bread, cold meats, jams, cereals etc, Turkish tea, and coffee. They also have a chef on hand if you fancy paying a bit extra for a full English or an omelette.. The menu caters for everyone, breakfast, lunches and evening meals, and the food is amazing!

We took our kids on their first holiday abroad, our youngest is non verbal autistic so it was a big thing for us to try and do. we had an amazing holiday due to the people in this hotel, everyone was friendly and extremely helpful, fantasic with my kids, has a great pool well maintained seen the guys out at night testing the PH levels etc, cleaners came daily 2 lovely chatty women my daughter loved them. We ate at the hotel every day for lunch and 4 times out of the 7 for our main evening meal, the menu is small but the food was amazing and very well priced. Breakfast is continental style my kids are fussy but there is boiled eggs and my kids love egg in a cup so there was something to suit everyone. the rooms are basic but they are what you need for a great holiday, great for families and even single travellers as everyone is so friendly and chatty, would go back in a heart beat in fact have already emailled for quotes for may next year. this hotel made taking my kids away easy. thanks for everything guys :)

Peter and the other staff go above and beyond to make sure you have an amazing holiday. Nothing is too much trouble. The cocktails are the best. Make sure you try a ‘ Peter Pan ‘. The food is freshly cooked and really delicious. My favourite was the chicken wrap. Loved the chilled atmosphere in the bar at night. Thank you 🙏🏽 We look forward to returning soon.
