The Glastonbury Townhouse B&B

My friend Tina and I have just come back from 4 wonderful days in Glastonbury. We stayed at The Glastonbury Townhouse and right from the very first call Paula was friendly and welcoming. The Glastonbury Townhouse is superb, clean and beautifully decorated. There is a great selection to choose from at breakfast with jams, sausages, eggs and sausages all locally produced. Paula goes out of her way to meet any dietary requirements. Thank you again Paula for making us feel so welcome and at home. Hope to come again soon.

A very warm welcome from Paula on arrival. The room was beautiful. Everything I needed was there, and a few nice little touches like sleep spray and items in the bathroom. The dining area for breakfast was lovely and the food was amazing. Extremely happy to have found The Glastonbury Town house. Thanks Paula your place is amazing

My partner Rowen and I stayed here in February - it was fantastic! Paula is a great host - friendly, welcoming & knowledgeable, with great recommendations of things to do. The room was cosy, comfortable and warm. Lovely shower. Wide range of teas and coffees, TV with lots of channels. Breakfast each morning was really delicious - the homemade bread especially was a treat. Buses left from just outside and the town is only a few minutes walk away.

Good size room with a comfortable bed, great pillows and linen. Nice ensuite and good shower. Exceptionally clean with attention to detail everywhere. Our host was charming and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast scored a ten out of ten. Parking was off road. Certainly recommend.

Five of us stayed for one night in 3 rooms in the glastonbury townhouse and what a fabulous place it was. Paula the host was great from start to finish - great communication all the way through. The rooms were definitely 5 star with the most comfortable bed and bedding ever! The decor was lovely throughout and it felt like a home from home. Paula gave us some great tips of where to go and what to do. She also recommended a great italian restaurant called gigis too. Her breakfasts are out of this world catering for all of our needs (one was on slimming world and one only had decaf tea and coffee) and the fruit platter was simply gorgeous. All in all a perfect stay. We will definitely be returning for a visit. Five star all the way.

This was our third stay at the Glastonbury Townhouse. It’s always great and Paula has created a little oasis a short stroll from the middle of Glastonbury. Rooms are immaculate and the breakfasts are legendary. We’ll be back…

We stayed one night here but would definitely stay again, we couldn’t fault it. Beautiful clean and welcoming rooms in a gorgeous period house. Wonderful breakfast with lots of choice and excellent position for walking into town, the chalice well and the Tor. Paula the owner was so welcoming and helpful. Excellent value for money and highly recommend staying here.

A beautiful place to stay. Bed so comfy. Toiletries a lovely extra. Also fresh milk in your room which is a great added extra Breakfast fantastic Easy to walk into town and umbrellas available. Also well placed for the Tor and other attractions. Would definitely stay again if in the area

A wonderful two night stay at this immaculate Edwardian Townhouse. Room was lovely, bed was comfy, and had every extra you might need down to travel plugs for foreign guests. The breakfast room had a variety of yoghurts, fresh fruit, cereals and the cooked breakfast better than any recent hotel offerings. Paula is a wonderful, accommodating host. Has a lovely garden for you to sit in and if you are visiting the local area it would be my first choice to stay at & we will return for an overnight stay to break our regular journey down to Cornwall. There is parking on the drive and it’s 10 minutes walk to the Chalice Well & start of climb to the Tor. The shops are even nearer. Perfect location.
