I had a disappointing stay at this hotel. In our first room, tissues were scattered, and the tissue box looked disturbed. The front desk was helpful in switching our room and offered complimentary drinks, but we were too tired to enjoy them. The next morning, while preparing to leave for our flight, we found four dirty socks hidden behind the curtains—something we missed during check-in. We couldn't complain on the spot due to our tight schedule and later emailed the hotel, but they only offered an apology. I’m shocked that a large hotel brand could have such cleanliness issues, especially after changing rooms twice. Overall, it was a frustrating experience.

We had stayed here for two nights, I can't comment on the food/drink as we went out as most places were a short walk away. The location was very good with being a short walk to Glasgow Central train station and city centre. Reception staff were friendly checking in, however the room we were given had not been cleaned... Went back to reception and they had apologised and changed our room with a slight upgrade. This room was immaculate and all the amenities gave it that little bit extra luxurious touch; use of a cosy white robe, slippers, tea, coffee and hot chocolate. I loved the sustainability efforts with their toiletries being plant based and vegan friendly! The bathroom had a rain shower with really good pressure and easily enough to control and a bathtub. The only cons were there was a small towel rail in the bathroom which was a slight struggle to fit them on to dry. The TV in the bedroom area did not work and we only found this out on our last night. There was only one lift operating and the other one was out of service, so best to leave anywhere in plenty of time.

Very clean and sophisticated hotel but keep in mind the standard room is a little smaller than what you might expect at other hotels. No minibar. Staff very friendly and located on top of the station.

Any requests I had, I had to repeat three times to the staff members. They constanly though they were in the right, even though all was saying was that the room phone didnt work.. The turnover staff were also rude, and unnessary loud in their role. If a door is locked, then dont contiunal try and open it! Room was clean and large. Only one lift was avaible to use, so it took an long time to turn up.

The breakfast was quite good. We stayed in the room beginning with number 3. Downstairs there was a disco hall. It was very noisy. We simply couldn't sleep.

Great location, part of the central station building. Stylish and comfortable. Staff were very efficient and friendly. The room was everything you need, clean and comfortable.

Beautiful old railway hotel adjacent to the station, which provides excellent access if visiting by train. Though the hotel has heritage, it has been brought up to date without loosing any of its feel as a beautiful old Victorian building. Our room was perfect, very quiet especially considering it is next to the station and the city centre, rhe beds were very comfortable, bathroom wonderful and temperature perfect. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Glasgow who doesn’t want to stay in a modern concrete box.

The location of the hotel is perfect right next to the Glasgow Station. The staff is nice and helpful. Breakfast is ok.
