Great hotel, very nice pool, staff were friendly and helpful. Dinner was brilliant and very reasonable, we ate there two out of four nights. Lots on the menu, even whole monkfish tail. Massive steaks too. Breakfast was so-so but standard pricing. The location is great if you’re mobile but the bus stop is just across the road so you can get into town easily either way (about a 20 minute walk, less than ten minutes on the bus). If you’re looking to visit the beaches, be prepared for a journey as they are very far away and hard to navigate via public transport. Taxis are expensive. The hotel staff printed the timetables off for us because they wouldn’t show on Google Map. Highly recommended though. We went snorkelling and sea kayaking and saw octopus and explored caves. Only negative to say about the hotel is that they charge for the hot tub and it’s €7 per person. Felt like it should be included but maybe you get a specific amount of slots based on your length of stay? Didn’t seem like anyone was booking it and I imagine it’s because most people feel it should be included.

The Staff were so kind, helpful, attentive and courteous, especially Juan at the reception. Overall, the experience was super perfect. We always stay here whenever we travel to Alicante for an overnight rest.

We loved this hotel - clean, comfortable, convenient, attractive decor and great breakfast. All staff were friendly but Joan on reception was excellent- so helpful, welcoming and friendly. Joan is a 5 star employee. Thank you for a wonderful stay- we will be back!

We had booked a two-night stay. Upon checking in, we informed the receptionist that we would like to stay only one night (we would leave a day earlier). The receptionist told us that this was not a problem and we would receive a full refund for the canceled night because their policy allowed a refund as long as the hotel was notified at least before midnight of the day before (which we did!). So after spending the first day in Girona, we left the hotel, arrived back home, and discovered they denied us a refund! The hotel was very full. They gave us false information to make us leave the hotel and make room for new guests.

Lovely hotel about 15 mins walk from old town. Very nice refurbished rooms, lovely pool area, great breakfast. Also an honesty bar for drinks and snacks.

Very clean hotel, reception staff very helpful. Small pool but that did not matter to us. Bit of a distance to walk into the centre but do-able. Nothing much around hotel so need to go into city centre.

From the warm welcome we received at check in, and the lovely room we stayed in, to the friendly service in the restaurant and excellent cuisine, we could find no fault. We will definitely be back when we travel that way next.

Well worth staying at Costabella. Lovely outdoor pool, long enough to do lengths in. Good buffet breakfast selection, varied dinner menu with plenty of vegetarian choices, and very reasonably priced wines. Rather noisy road but window closed and air con fixed that. 20/25 minute walk onto old quarter, which is a delight. We saw most of what we wanted to in 2 days.
