Hotel Santa Rosa, Blue Hoteles

La ubicación es perfecta, al lado de todos los lugares de interés, el hotel es nuevo, con todo lo necesario y el personal muy amable y atento. En cuanto al desayuno no es muy variado pero en relación calidad-precio está perfecto. Recomendable 100%.

Fijn hotel. Net wat ik als solo reiziger nodige had. Alles netjes en praktisch in gericht. Receptie zeer vriendelijk. Ontbijt was niet overdreven maar wel prima. Fijne locatie, dichtbij de haven.

An excellent location with wonderful helpful people. They have parking. The receptionist guided me in. People were cheerful and welcoming. Surrounded by beautiful bars and restaurants. Close to the town the harbour and the beach. Like 5 minutes close. Will definitely return

The hotel advertised air conditioning. The front desk did change my room from the 4th floor which was really hot to a room with windows that opened on the 3rd floor. That led to mosquitoes coming in at night and receiving multiple bites. I got zero sleep the first night. The front desk gave me a plug in mosquito repellent for the room which did help. The air conditioning does not get turned on until June, so be aware. The building was hot and it was cool outside. 15 Celsius. . If you like climate control, wait until June or check directly with the hotel. The staff was helpful and courteous. The hotels A/C policy is the issue.

Small nice hotel in the heart of the town! With own parking. I would love to visit again

This was my third visit to Gijon, and it won't be my last. A short 1 3/4 hour flight from Gatwick with Vueling, and a 1/2 hour taxi ride from OVD (Asturias) Airport and I was in town. The hotel reception staff were attentive from check-in to check-out, even helping out with a minor injury! The hotel room was spotless, with plenty of storage space, writing desk and a comfy bed. The ensuite was A1, with excellent shower and other accessories including a hairdryer and even a bidet (unused...!). The continental breakfast was fine and as expected, delicious coffee!! Gijon is not a large town but offers plenty. The expansive San Lorenso beach front with a huge promenade, makes an ideal surf beach which isn't ideal for small children, but behind the bay is another beach, near the marina, which is ideal for younger families. The restaurants, oh the restaurants... I ate two large meals a day and never at the same restaurant twice, all very reasonably priced one clear recommendation is the Fabada, a basic meal comprising of beans, with chorizo and pork (or clam), with flavours you'll never have enjoyed before! Buenas vacaciones y gracias Gijon!

The location was very convenient, central, near to the beach and the port.
