Filion Suites Resort & Spa

We loved our stay in fillion suite resort. Staff are amazing and so friendly and the hotel is beautiful. We enjoyed the entertainment, the bar and the buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner was absolutely amazing. Would highly recommend.

Let's get the big negative out of the way first this hotel is not 5 star and travel companies should seriously look at this when advertising it so because quite simply it's not, saying that it is a very nice hotel in a stunning setting although more than a little bit remote from Bali itself, it has a shuttle bus which runs back and forth during the day but if you wanted to venture out at night it would cost you around 40 euros for taxis, our superior double room was spacious with stunning views from Balcony, restraunt was again set with views food was nice but not what I would have expected from a 5 star hotel, Drinks we're nice but mostly served from plastic tumblers again not what I would expect from 5 star hotel, pool areas were nice and the biggest bonus is that the hotel has its own private beach with loungers at the shuttle bus drop off point, the staff are all lovely apart from one grumpy older barman who's name I never got, everyone else was exceptional with a special mention for Vasilius my new friend, all in all we had an enjoyable stay but please change your 5 star rating to avoid disappoin**ent.

Firstly be warned, it’s a 3 hour transfer by coach from Chania airport to Fillion Suites ! 1 hour if in a taxi direct. Arriving late evening we were put in room 1004 which was at the bottom of a VERY steep hill to climb to resort amenities, with a view of a tatty garden and a hire car ! We asked immediately to move , thankfully reception managed this the next day and we had a much better top floor room with a terrace and beautiful view. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping good. Food and drinks enjoyable. Entertainment was poor but couldn’t really go anywhere else unless taxi to Bali 20 euros. We did have a nice holiday thanks to changing our room , met lots of lovely people but sadly it’s not a 5 star hotel more 3/4 and the transfer time was ridiculous.

All the Staff from checking in with Angela to meeting Regina, Antonia and Zarah in the restaurant, our lovely lady Alora who looked after our room, all could not have been more helpful and accommodating through out our stay. All the staff so friendly and cheerful. The food was amazing. Pool bar and staff were great. entertainment every night. Courtesy bus down to Bali beach with our hotel sunbeds and shades on the beach, beautiful. What a great place to stay. Thankyou.

This is very far from 5* hotel, our experience: We have chosen this hotel as they had indoor pool, incase weather isnt great when we arrive, upon arrival turns out indoor pool isnt heated, as well as they keep outside doors open on rainy, cold day this was biggest minus! SPA was dead, no people at all. Hotel has only 1 bar, with untrained barmens, there was an older man working there who had no clue how to make a cocktail, we did order a pinacolada that went straight to the bin. Also, non-alcoholic cocktail choices were 3 cocktail and all made same way, so basically 1 cocktail you could get if, you dont drink. Since its only one bar, if, its busy evening you will stand in a queue ages to get your drink. There are 3 outdoor pools, one is quite far, so if, you want a drink you will have to walk 15min to pick up one, also, they have limit of 2 drinks per person at the time. Restaurant: Great, food was lovely no complaints, however they have so much waiters but none of them serving drinks, all 5 stars i have been would come to your table and ask you what drink would you like. Sea side: they have a bus that takes you to hotels provate beach, however you have to pay for drinks there, never seen anything like that in 5* hotel! Rooms: Beautiful view from balcony, however they wont leave water in your room, you have to go to reception to ask for some each time, this made no sense. Mine and my partners bed were two single beds pished together, very uncomfortable Reception staff very friendly In overall, if, we didnt had a car to travel, this hotel wouldve been depressing, forgot to mention that SHOW every evening were the cheapest show ever, horrible

Hotel Filion Suites Resort & Spa very nice and quite place surrounded by beautiful mountains.The sea is a bit far, but it is transported by a free bus. Very friendly staff.We would mainly like to thank the front desk.Guys from reception solved all our problems.We enjoy that holidays. Vaida.

Just finishing off a week's stay here...A few things make it fall short of 5 star, but its definitely not the staff .They are all so lovely and go out of their way to help you..Special mention to Dimitrio who checked us in as late arrivals..Food is fine and well presented ..For us it falls short at night as unless you want to get a taxi into Bali , the only place is the bar..Could maybe do with a big TV screen outside ..Its nice and peaceful, drinks are fine ..The pool bar is staffed during the day with lovely bar staff, but the food is not so good..cold chips and sandwiches and salad...not a pool bar in the real sense..having said all this , we would return for a restful break..Good value for money .

Hotel and facilities are absolutely fantastic from the gym to the pools etc! We had a superior room with Mountain View. Pictures don’t do the rooms justice. The room was very spacious and very clean and also came with some towels, shampoo, lotion etc. above everything the best thing about the resort is the staff, they are so friendly and accommodating. From the cleaning staff, reception to the bar staff. The staff in the dining room also did a surprise cake for my birthday and sang for me on my special day. 5 stars!

Fantastic resort with amazing views , comfortable pools and 2 mini buses who carry clients free of charge to the beach and village 12 times daily. The food is really very good and the service so helpful and friendly. The bar is spacious with music and dancing nights.we suggest Filion.
