It’s a large onsen hotel and close proximity to the station and shopping street. Everything is very organised arrangement for hot spring time, dinner and breakfast time. My family and I enjoyed those three different hot spring facilities very much. Hotel provided free shuttle bus for pick up and no reservation is required.

Location and service was excellent, the hotel is very big with a beautiful small garden. Can tell that this is a good class old hotel, the facilities/furniture was a bit outdated though. The snacks in the room is a touching feeling as we normally don't have such service in the room.

Our stay at Suimeikan in Gero was nothing short of amazing. Despite the hotel's age, it has maintained its charm and offers a truly remarkable experience. The facilities were well-kept, and the traditional ambiance combined with modern conveniences made our visit both relaxing and comfortable. The onsen was a highlight, offering a serene and rejuvenating experience. The staff were incredibly attentive and made us feel welcomed throughout our stay. Suimeikan perfectly captures the essence of Gero – a blend of timeless beauty and exceptional service. Highly recommended!

This is a famous and top hotel is GERO. The hotel has good history but it also means some of their facilities are relatively old. The room is big and clean. All three Onsen facilities are very good, it is the most important for going to GERO.

The location is good,near the Gero Station, around 10 minites walk. Or take the scheduled shuttle bus from/to Gero Station. The breakfast is great with many varities. There are 3 public onsen choices in different buildings. The room is large but poor ventilation system as stinky smell comes from the bathroom.

Had a great stay with Suimeikan. The staff are friendly, and they have 3 different onsens to choose from. I stayed in a 1-person western style room, which is clean with a standard double bed. They also serve a great buffet breakfast!

Very cool and nice, I drive a car and the staffs a very helpful to reserve a parking area for me. And the hotel is so good

For the price this onsen hotel has provided all that I am looking for a good night rest and entertainment during our roadtrip.

Hotel location where next to JR Station is perfect and the mountain view is good. Hotel staff is nice and professional. But the hygiene was terrific as my husband said there was big 🦗 in the tatami bed when I was having hot spring with my girl. Lucky to say that my daughter and I didn't see it or otherwise we must get crazy and request to change the hotel room. One more thing to take improvement is that there was bad smell in the toilet. Tourists shall be reminded of the business hour of the restaurants nearby. Most of the restaurants close early at 3-4pm. You must reserve the dinner set in the hotel or otherwise you better buy some foods in family mart or Lawson.
