Myrion Beach Resort & Spa - Adults Only

What a fantastic experience we have had at this hotel , 12 days of bliss! We booked the Myrion hoping for 5 * service and that's what we got. From the minute we arrived to the minute we left we've had the most amazing time . The hotel is Beautiful, clean & luxurious!..The location is perfect , a 1 minute stroll to the gorgeus private beach , and a well placed bus stop in front of the hotel is very convenient to ride into Plantanious & Chania (every 30mins) The room's & service are of a high standard, we were not too happy with the location of our room on arrival & as soon as we let reception know , we were offered another room , it was an upgrade , and just lovely with a sea view , it had two TV's perfect for our 16yr old to watch his You Tube videos . The Fluffy bath robes & Slippers were an added luxury. The food was of a very high standard, it fitted very well with the hotel's 'well being' theme. We had Breakfast & Evening meals. We were kindly left a complimentary bottle of wine & chocolate in our room , as it was our anniversary while staying here. The room's were cleaned daily, tge response to any issues was prompt (safe not working) I had a luxurious Spa trea**ent , (exfoliation, warm oils , and chocolate body butter ) which was perfect) Finally the biggest compliment goes to the staff..they were amazing, ALWAYS smiling, attentive , helpful, professional & said on many occasions , that our experience was important to them . If its 5* experience you want , then you will have your expectations met here at the Myrion Hotel. We will be back x

Myrion was absolutely incredible. The staff was amazing, the pool and resort grounds were absolutely gorgeous. There is a cute beach in the back of the resort as well. The sand is a little pebbly, so bring water shoes, but it’s so quaint and private. We loved the all inclusive breakfast. We walked to the next village down (Maleme) where we found a bunch of cute restaurants and bars. There is also a few right out front of the resort (5 min walk). There is a bus that picks up in front of the hotel and can take you to downtown Chania (about 30 mins) for 2€. Overall, we loved our time in Crete and the Myrion hotel. The location was great and we can’t wait to come back to Crete!

Myrion is a luxurious resort located in Chania. The resort offers a variety of accommodations and room options which are all beautifully designed and maintained. The water element, which is everywhere you look, together with the modern and calmly aesthetics of the place, really relaxed me from the first day of my stay. Guests can enjoy a variety of activities such as spa, massage, swimming, etc. The resort also has several restaurants and bars on-site that serve delicious cuisine and drinks. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring that guests have an unforgettable experience. Overall, Myrion is an excellent choice, if not the best in Chania, for a luxurious and relaxing vacation.

We arrived late in the evening on the 11th October to this nice hotel in Gerani for a one-week stay. We were met by a very friendly hotel manager and assistant who showed us to our room which was a free room upgrade to a Superior room with a shared pool. :-) We had made a comprehensible research on Crete hotels before we chose Myrion Beach and what a pleasure our stay turned out to be. :-) The hotel had all the features we wanted: 1. Perfect and quiet location near Chania (16 km to the center). 2. Right at the beachfront (with no charge for sunbeds). 3. A large pool (always free sunbeds and not crowded) we used every day. The shared pool at our room was also a hit and we used it in the morning even if it was a bit cold in October. 4. The staff was very friendly. 5. The hotel and rooms have a modern design and are kept very clean. We slept very good. 6. Breakfast was perfect with a large variety to choose from. My girlfriend had fresh omelet some of the mornings. The a lá carte restaurant made very good octopus and fries. The wine card would be better if more Greek wines were added. 7. Pool bar and service is the best, with pleasant lounge music that make you relax even more. 8. Furthermore, there are two very good restaurants near the hotel. All in all Myrion Beach Hotel & Spa is a very nice 5-star experience that we would love to try again!

Beautiful hotel. Attentive staff. Stayed on a breakfast only basis and plenty of choice at breakfast. We thought the room was great. Had a DJ rock up one day which I quite enjoyed. There are a few restaurants within walking distance and one on the beach which is excellent for lunch and does great fish dishes. You will need beach shoes as you need to negotiate quite a few sharp pebbles to get into the sea. Overall Absolutely excellent holiday. Wonderful and relaxing

We really enjoyed our expedited at Myrion. We booked a split level room which was lovely, great balcony with sea view. The restaurant food was lovely and bar staff very friendly. The pool area and grounds where pristine, very well kept. Great little supermarket over the road and plenty of restaurants in walking distance. Hire scooters from over the road too. The only room for improvement for a 5 star resort is; no room service, breakfast buffet too busy and no Al La carte, no alternative bar in the evening and no heated pool (even in the spa).

Giving this 5 out of 5 for the staff, hotel aesthetics and getting a very nice free room upgrade 😄 The hotel looks even better in person than in pictures, simply stunning with the modern design and layout of all the rooms either side of the pool. Staff were fantastic and very attentive, along with the cleanliness, a**osphere and willingness to give you a good experience. For the price, I simply cannot really fault and it delivered a great relaxing experience. Constructive feedback: Food could offer a lot more variety, especially the evening meal as compared to previous experiences it was very limited imo. Pool is beautiful, but could be a tad warmer. Would be nice to perhaps have some live entertainment on offer, especially since this hotel claims to be 5 stars? Not really an issue for us as we could share our phone to the room TV to watch films, but without it could be a bit of a boring evening experience. All inclusive offer perhaps? Only offers half board and have to pay for drinks in evenings. Lunch and any drink purchase is quite expensive, so perhaps stocking up from local shop will help ease this. Overall for the price and the experience, it was lovely delivered the relaxation we were looking for! Believe this is quite a new hotel, so I think with some feedback it can go to new levels, but needs to deliver the feedback to become a true 5 star hotel in my opinion 🙏

Hotel was very clean and staff were welcoming. Pool area was lovely and nice to be so close to beach. Room was a good size, however could of been designed a little better as needed more hanging space for clothes and wet towels. Breakfast was fine, but as previous reviews hot food wasn't hot. We didn't eat dinner at the buffet, but had two great meals at the a la carte restaurant. Food was first class as was the service from Theodore and Vasilis. When we visited we had just gone into out of season so some nearby restaurants had closed and you had to walk to main road for bus service to Chania which wasn't too far away, but some may struggle if too hot. If you were going for more than 1 week then would recommend hiring a car. Overall had a great time and would recommend hotel.

Excellent hotel with really nice rooms and facilities. Relatively recently built, so everything is modern and clean. The staff are superb - so friendly and helpful, they really are brilliant. No major complaints at all, and we had a lovely stay. I've given 5 stars, because as I say, no major complaints. However, as advice for others looking at this hotel here are a few of the minor issues we noticed: - The standard rooms are quite small in terms of space, so they can feel a bit cramped. The balconies/patios are nice and big however. - Breakfast was nice and there's a wide variety - more tailored to Nordic and German guests I would say (plenty of cold meats etc). The one minor issue was that the 'hot' food was often only luke warm. - The pool is very cold, even on hot days it takes a sharp intake of breath to get in. Might be worth considering if travelling with children. I have noticed recently that with the nonsense of "green" policies hotels are having to not heat their pools, this may be why. - The bar is expensive - 6.50 Euros for a 400ml glass of Mythos (well short of a pint!) and 13 for cocktails, with no happy hour. Shame because the cocktails were really good, just not palatable at those prices. We found that the apar**ents next door had a lovely bar/taverna called Enorme Eanthia where drinks were more reasonably priced, and they do have a happy hour. - It's a bit detached from the nearest town of any note (Platanias) - it's a good 40min walk, or a 10min bus ride (buses run every 15 mins on the main road south of the hotel). Platanias has a huge range of restuarants and bars. There are some restuarants close to the hotel - I'd say within 10 mins walk there are 5 places on the road, all seemed pretty decent. All in all a very nice stay at a very nice hotel - would recommend - hope this review helps others looking at Myrion.
