Amazing Amazing Amazing! I cannot say enough to say how good Africamps Oakhurst is. From the check-in, the amazing staff, to the spotless tent to our super informative dairy tour (thank you Alistair!). My son and I were looking for a weekend of down time and that is exactly what we got. We walked a lot, cycled, spent time in the hot tub and just had lots of fun. Our 3rd or 4th visit, we will be back again!

Attention to detail, beautiful views, many activities on a working dairy farm and brilliant hot tubs - a treat!

Cannot recommend this enough. We had a beautiful couple of days on the grounds and felt well looked after by the staff. The location is so secluded and serene. The tents are well stocked and luxurious but you still feel close to nature. Wish I could have stayed longer!!

Let me just start by saying, i hate camping. But i love the outdoors. Africamps ticked all the right boxes for me. Comfort, everything you needed in the tent along with tons of fresh air, nature, relaxation, and all those wonderful camp-like vibes without the hassle of packing everything into your boot to make the stay livable. While we brought all our own food and snacks, we needed nothing, because the deli/store had enough supplies to cook a decent meal, with dessert included! The hot tub was simply magnificent in the winter cold, it was magical relaxing in it while cows are grazing all around you. The tent itself was not cold at all either, not with a lovely fireplace and electric blankets on the beds. Really a peaceful and wonderful weekend. Probably the only negative thing i can say is that it started raining and unfortunately, the braai area (the chimney) was built in a way that when it rains the rain comes right down into it putting the fire out so our meal was a bit ruined in the rain, but luckily there was a gas stove where we completed the cooking on. But it would be great if the bbq facility was not weather dependent.

A lovely first time experience, will definitely do it again. Enjoyed the hot tub and clamping in general. Reception staff was great which made the stay more pleasant. The variety of ready made meals on offer was excellent.

Fantastic location. Peaceful with very friendly helpful staff. Close enough to pop out to local shops if you have forgotten something. The tents were furnished with everything one needs. Dry firewood from reception was helpful as our wood was soaked. All in all a great getaway without the long tedious drive.

Although we did not partake in any of the activities offered we enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, the hot tub next to the tent and making the tent super cozy with the fire place. Oakhurst is a short scenic drive from Wilderness and has so much to offer for nature lovers.

Our booking was for October 2023, booked in March and had to cancel in June due to unexpected circumstances. Please note the cancelation policy at this accommodation. Cancelation within 999 days (I kid you not) leads to you losing 25% of the Total booking amount (not 25% of the deposit), cancelation within 90 days you lose 50% of the Total booking amount and within 30 days you lose 100% of the Total booking amount.... Make sure your plans don't change....

Highly recommend Oakhurst Africamps - everything is top class. A return trip for us and we were super impressed with how much work they have done and how they continue to offer more and maintain all facilities

Great place to stay with excellent service. Our tent was cleaned and there were lots of activities during the weekend. The coffee bar and shop at the campsite was great and convenient. The tent itself was cleaned and contained everything you need. The sunset was beautiful. Our kids were very happy with the playground close to the tents.

We absolutely loved our stay at Oakhurst! The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly, the tent was clean and well-appointed and we loved the hot tub. The farm was beautiful and we enjoyed hiring bikes, walking and going horse riding (I loved riding with Elias, who is super friendly and experienced). We would definitely recommend a stay

My husband and I spent 4 days at Oakhurst and it was a dream. Would recommend this venue to anyone. Will be back with friends and family as soon as we can. The natural surroundings and bird sounds are just so enchanting.

The Oakhurst farm is a lovely farm with great activities. The activities is educational. The tents is clean and located perfectly on the farm. The grass was green with some rainfall in the evenings. Afrikamps always has a booking special and is a great alternative for fancy hotels. The fresh air and quietness of nature is calming to the soul. Each Afrikamp has a different experience as they got their own uniqueness. Would recommend giving them all a stay.
