Great Wolf is a kids paradise but the place is beginning to show its age. The water park rides are varied and fun but the carpet in the room absolutely needs to be replaced. It was great to see the attention the staff took to cleaning everywhere daily.

It took an hour to get our room and the room we got was part of the Magic Quest route so non stop noise and kids knocking on our door.

The customer is not valued here. Me and my husband spent $1,200 for a 1 night stay plus a cabana rental because we have an infant. $429 for room + $707 for a deluxe cabana. We called 3x times to their posted customer service line on their website to reiterate the deluxe cabana option for $707 which was to come with food and drinks. We spent from 10am to 6:30pm that day asking management to review the call to “prove” we bought the deluxe package… we had texts receipts, but they “needed to listen to the voice recording” to prove we were indeed told we had the deluxe package. Apparently, the reservation line is a 3rd party and they had to put in a request to have them review the call. Management felt it was proper to hold our drinks all day until we were leaving the cabana to get our infant to the room because they still hadn’t verified with their third party. Then the drinks came and we were told we had to drink them at the cabana and couldn’t bring them to the room because it’s against policy. The service from our server, really amazing… it wasn’t his fault and he was so kind. I’m severely dissatisfied with management and our first experience here. please note, that even at check out, they hadn’t reviewed the call and made us feel as if we were cheating them or getting things for free. No, great wolf lodge, I was told three 3x that the $707 price was for the deluxe cabana tier. The basic and stock fridge options were in the $500 range. Such a bad experience, will not return.

This was our second time in less than a month visiting GWL. Kids really enjoy it. It can get pretty crowded in there but it wasn’t a problem for us. Facilities are clean, staff is nice and helpful. No complaints. The one thing I will say is that it’s astonishing the amount of little kids that are left unattended by their parents in the kiddie pool. Yes it’s gated, but it’s water people! The lack of common sense from parents is mind boggling. That ofcourse isn’t a reflection on GWL but rather poor parenting.

We stayed at the garden grove lodge and it was terrible . Super outdated . Not clean . Musty . Most of the “magi quest” interactions didn’t function. Wasted $500 on a single night for an ear full of disappointment. HIGHLY DO NO RECOMMEND

My kids loved this property. The beds were comfortable, rooms clean. A lot to do within so no need to leave. Just fyi- floors 4-6 are part of the virtual scavenger hunt. I didn’t mind but be mindful that there are people in and out of the floor and hallways with their kids until about 11pm.

No soap or shampoo in shower rooms otherwise our stay was great. Paying for parking was inconvenient because it didn’t work, we asked the guest services staff but he didn’t know how to pay for the parking online instead he redirected me to the parking provider’s office, was a waste of time on that part.
