Unfortunately I found a cockroach insect in my room. Far from sorry for the situation, the receptionist was rude. They gave me another room which was with the toilet not working well and making noise, I mentioned it to the receptionist and said that they will check it in the next morning. Also, the pillow had hair from previous customers so I doubt about their cleaning procedure. Money paid is not worthy. Location in city is great.

Good location however the room wasn’t clean and the toilet would not flush properly. Also quite loads at night so difficult to get a good nights sleep

The room was clean, the hotel is in a really good location. The kitchenette is well equipped, you have all the basics. The building is not very well sound- proofed, so if you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs. It's a 2* hotel and reflected in the price but it's a good value for the money.

Fue una estancia genial, y el trato excepcional, flexibilidad horaria para el cheking y buen ambiente. Estaba todo limpio y era muy cómodo, no había ruidos y el aparcamiento fue relativamente fácil de encontrar.

Gostei do sitio,higiene e conforto

I stayed there for 10 days and was lovely place and lovely staff. Is situated in center of Funchal and if you are planning to explore the Island this is the best place to stay. Because the accomodation was not very expensive, I paid 600€ in the middle of the summer and you can have breakfast for just 7€. The girl at reception Claudia was very nice to me and she helped to get a very good deal on rent a car just 55€ a day full insurance cover and she give me a plan to explore the Island in 4 days which helped me to save time and money. I would highly recommend residential Colombo and I hope to came back when I'll have a Thank you very much!!! All done guys.💪

We stayed at this hotel twice and have booked it again. It’s a budget-friendly place in the very centre of Funchal. It has everything we need really - the rooms are spacious, there’s always hot water in the shower, the rooms are cleaned every day. Faultless, fast WiFi (crucial if you are working remotely or travelling with a teen). Massive kudos to the amazing staff - they are very friendly and courteous. The location is perfect for sightseeing in Funchal or getting to other places in Madeira.

Ci hanno assegnato una stanza abbastanza piccola, ma comunque confortevole e accogliente. La posizione è perfetta per rimanere centrali nella capitale, ha un c.c. nelle vicinanze che è molto comodo. Unica nota negativa è La Wi-Fi che non prende molto bene. I ragazzi della reception sono molto gentili e disponibili.

Accueil déplorable par un mec qu'on fait clairement c*** de déranger. La chambre était horrible sombre bruyante à la limite ok pour tourner un film d'épouvante. Nous avons décidé de trainer tard dehors et de partir tôt pour éviter d'y rester. Le matin une dame à l'accueil (beaucoup plus sympa) nous accueil pour un déjeuner à l'image de la chambre. Le plus magique restera les toilettes avec porte rideau genre anti mouche et porte vitré avec vue sur la salle du déjeuner :D ...

É um espaço antigo humilde nota se obviamente mas é o que ha dentro de valores mais acessíveis já tivemos cá 3 vezes e das 3 vezes em quartos diferentes! Este ultimo tem mais condições pois dispõe de uma pequena kitchenette alem de alguns electrodomésticos ( que sempre dao jeito frigorífico, microondas, chalei) mas perdemos o acesso a varanda lá esta nao se pode ter tudo ... É um espaço que realmente nao preza muito pela limpeza pois vê se visualmente para cada canto que olhamos! O pior é realmente apartir das 7:50 alguem da limpeza com saltos altos subir descer sei la mais o que num espaço antigo ouve se tudo e tudo estremece ou seja acorda se obrigatoriamente!

Sehr zentral gelegenes Hotel mit super freundlichem Personal (24 Stunden Pforte und Reinigung).Bäckerei mit Café direkt vor der Türe genauso wie zahlreiche Restaurants.Das Zimmer war erstaunlich gross.Wegen der Strasse vor dem Hotel habe ich nachts das Fenster zugemacht und dann war es ok.Frühstück würde ich nicht hinzubuchen da es wenig abwechslungsreich ist. Da würde ich lieber zur Bäckerei gehen und dort was Herzhaftes essen.5 Sterne habe ich vergeben insbesondere wegen der Lage unter Berücksichtigung des niedrigen Preises für die Übernachtungen.

Quelle déception en lisant tous ces derniers avis clients négatifs alors que notre voyagiste nous y avait réservé 2 chambres (parents et adolescents) ! Nous avons tout de même tenté l’expérience ! Mais depuis les derniers avis, l’hôtel a déménagé dans un nouveau bâtiment, certes pas très moderne mais toujours très bien placé dans le centre-ville de Funchal, les chambres étaient propres et relativement grandes pour un hôtel équivalent à un 2*, même les salles bains, comparativement aux avis précédents. C’était un bon niveau de confort. Le point faible est plutôt l’insonorisation des chambres, vis-à-vis des autres chambres d’une part, et de l’extérieur (bars et école) d’autre part, ce qui ne nous a tout de même pas empêchés de dormir. Ça correspond bien à une insonorisation d’un 2* !
