The hotel is located close to Santa Maria Novella train station. The lobby staff is very kind and helpful (especially the person I found at check-in and checkout). The breakfast is of good quality even if the space is quite limited. For the points to improve: the hotel is quite old, it would require a full refurbishment (which is not easy to do maybe…). In 2023 still have the bathtub in the hotel (to be used to take the shower) is quite strange. Moreover the hotel doesn’t provide a couple of bottle of water for free (in other small hotels during our trip in Tuscany we always found in our room). Anyway it has been a good choice considering the position.

Pros: 1) excellent location 2) free luggage storage 3) pretty decent breakfast 4) clean bedroom Cons: 1) it was a wet bathroom (the shower floor isn't separate from the toilet and sink) and after showering, there would be a bit of a musty odor (maybe because the building is old); but if you're only staying there for one or two nights and you're out for most of the day, it's not a huge deal

As We know, this was a Perfect location, room old furnished but clean. Breakfast was, very simple and not the best coffee, no thanks was something wrong whit it everything day, unfortunately. Service good and again location Perfect.

Average hotel with okayish room. Better look for decent hotels with this budget. Old countryside vibes in hotel and just enough space to get by. Can be avoided if better hotels are available.

Nice, clean, near to train station, service is good , comfortable

The check in was supposed to be at 14.00 however we were given the room by 15:00. The reception said the room was not ready when we arrived by 14.00. The hotel is at a very central location. Generally pleasant stay.

This was such a quaint yet comfortable and homey hotel. Their extremely comfortable living area even had a real gas fireplace! The hotel is also just a 4 min walk from Florence SMN train station, and a few min walk from basically anywhere in the city. The service was also impeccable. We had to catch a train leaving Florence at 7:25. Because breakfast only started at 7:30, the hotel offered to give us a breakfast bag instead, and they had it ready for us when we were checking out. Other reviews say that the breakfast was supposed to be fresh pastries and unfortunately we missed that, but the bag was delicious as well. We were really impressed that they offered to do this for us. Thank you! TL;DR: Cosy, comfortable hotel. Highly recommended

It’s a very well located hotel, the breakfast is good. The toilet didn’t work at all.
