Gold Beach Resort

Visited the hotel in start of December. Was there with family. Very good atmosphere. Staffs were very kind and helpful.We enjoyed our stay there. Welcomed and taken care. Special Thanks to Mr Dave bundhoo and Mr benny from room management.

A very good hotel with a good location in Flic en Flac, we enjoyed our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The meals were varied and good. Of course the view was magnificent ! And I'd like to give a special mention to Vijayen, Veer and the whole team ! Thanks a lot !

Lunchtime and afternoon cocktails, by the pool overlooking the ocean , what’s not to like x The team here are excellent make you welcome , even when visiting from the beach !! Beach bars on this strip of the beach are a rare find , definitely worth the walk !

I went for a day package on the 20th December 2024 with my fiancée on her birthday. Was warmly welcomed upon arrival by the staffs and Mr Dave Bundhoo. Food was superb. I ate one of the best steak over there.They even planned a surprise birthday cake which was highly appreciated. Would surely go there again and will recommend other people.

The hotel is very well situated views was very beautiful staff was very harmful and helpful in reception and restaurant staff like waiter waitress f&b manager was very very delightful service was good always smiling most of this is mr dev bhundhoo he was taking care for all his staff and of course his guest he do all the possible thing what he can do never let the guest down always let the guest smile and comfortable he was and asset of this hotel thanks for everything mr dev bundhoo

We checked in at about 14:00, after the formalities, the receptionist asked us to head to the bar for welcome drinks. It was our first time there and obviously we did not know where the bar was; I was expecting someone to guide us but in vain. We went outside the reception and then someone was waiting for us to guide us to the room. The room is nice with good facilities. After two hours, a lady opened our door, it was embarrassing....!! It could have been someone of the Housekeeping, occupancy must be verified before opening a room.... I asked a waiter about the dinner menu but he couldn't answer me, after one hour, I asked a lady at the restaurant and still I couldn't get an answer about the menu. During dinner, we were served starters; samosa and fritters but no condiments were served, it was brought after requesting....!! Both the waiter and the head waitress didn't know what was included in our package. The package states include water, one soft drink and one sparkling wine glass per person. I had to explain that to them. I mentioned that we won't consume any alcoholic drinks, the head waitress told me that the sparkling wine was alcohol free and the waiter told me the opposite. But the waiter suggested that he can prepare a mocktail if we wanted, so I agreed. Starters were served before bringing the bread and butter. I asked the head waitress about what's for dessert but I didn't get a proper answer [mix dessert]. The water which was included never came to our table even after explaining to the head waitress about our package details....!! As a restaurant manager myself, I feel the need to write this review not for belittling anyone or the establishment but to help the management to review some standards so that guests needs are met. The dinner experience was quite disappointing.... Anyway, the location is fine!! I hope that my feedback will be taken positively to improve....
