Where do I begin, absolutely amazing from the moment you step out of the Male Airport and on to the Seaplane, the tropical journey begins. We arrived at Constance Halaveli with a welcoming party full of great energy, big smiles and happiness that lasted till the last day when you jump back into the sea plane with tears. It was truly a dream come true for me and my family. We have traveled many places with 2 kids and after visiting Mauritius last year, our expectations were very high with the Maldives and did it hit the spot. I have never been anywhere where the customer service is truly magical, the staff would do anything to go over beyond. A simple question to the staff makes all your doubts wash away. My son aged 8 is a very fuzzy person when he comes to eating just like most kids but the resturant staff made everything possible and my son was very happy everyday. I mean what hotel have you ever been to that would do this. I mean going the extra mile with a smile was what made this trip that special for us. So far for me, there hasn’t been a hotel that would do such a thing and most probably tell you what they have on the menu is all that they can provide. This was just one of many things that the hotel did to make the trip magical. The buffet restaurant both for breakfast, lunch and dinner was amazing, normal buffets we have experienced in the past either have limited food or are bland. This buffet was everything and alot more, to the point that you could quiet easily put on weight just by eating all the lovely food. They have themed nights every day which gives you a good variety of food, the deserts were never boring and always something that hit the spot. The dinners at both the la carte restaurants (Jing and Meeru) was amazing, we actually went there twice as the food was so good that you couldn't resist going back again The last thing to review and the best part of our trip was the staff who made it incredible. In all honesty the whole team were absolutely incredible but a few of the staff we created a great relationship with I must give them a big thank you for everything. After dreaming of traveling to the Maldives since I was a kid, this was a dream come true and it looked exactly like on the pictures you see in every magazine. The turquoise waters are just that turquoise, the beaches are exactly as white and the palms just as picturesque. We stayed in a water villa and even though the beach is gorgeous, the feeling of just jumping off your own terrace and into the water and then a dip in your own private plunge pool was magical. Sadly we did not participate in any water sports as the weather was a bit tricky, but we did snorkle and saw lots of colourful fish, sting rays and sharks outside our villa every day. Great gym, very nice spa. There are three restaurants that all offer a nice selection of food. To us the wine selection was probably the most spectacular offer as we both work with wine. To encounter a selection like they have at Halaveli was a fantastic surprise. The sommelier team is lead by Sree Menon, who is not only professional, but also very knowledgeable and eager to find the best wines according to your taste. I could have stayed another week just to drink more of these fab wines that you can hardly get anymore in other parts of the world! At least not at these prices.

Our vacation was AMAZING here. We spent a great time in the Constance. Food is so delicious and perfect, the staff was very friendly and kind especially Jausam, Nappe and Adam. Our room was very clean and they are very careful about hygiene. The beach is unbelievable and room view is beautiful. Until next time

“Where do I begin?” was my thought when I started this review!! As many will know, that’s the opening line of the theme song to the film ‘Love Story’ and perhaps my thoughts were apt as this was our 11th visit and therefore, it must be our very own love story. Let’s start with the accommodation. We always stay in a beach villa - we love the space a beach villa provides & the many different seating options including under cover, in the semi-shade and, of course, on the beach directly outside the villa garden. It was extremely hot this time (end April/early May) so the shade was most welcome. Our favourite villa spot is on the sunrise side where there are uninterrupted views of the ocean and distant views of other islands, there’s usually a nice breeze (depending on the time of year) and a wide section of sand. The housekeeping & gardening team do a fabulous job of keeping our ‘home’ in tip top condition - the villa, the gardens and the pool. Big shout out here to Amin, our room host, and Koeas, our pool attendant who delivered superb service with a smile! As many other guests have said the food, wine and ambience in every restaurant is always sublime. We have never had a meal we were disappointed with. Food wise, Chefs Siddiq, Madan and Vinay always pull out the stops and on this holiday created a number of delicious special meals including two Indian themed dinners AND a stunning dinner on the beach. For the latter we also have to thank the lovely Santosh for setting up a beautiful romantic table for two overlooking the sea. We thought we’d died and gone to heaven that night! We always go for the B&B arrangement which suits us. For breakfast, Jahaz offers everything and anything from fresh bread & pastries (thanks to Tapas and the talented pastry team), umpteen varieties of cut fruit, several cereals, freshly cooked eggs, cold cuts, bacon & sausage through to more exotic options like Maldivian tuna curry. Rasheed directs the breakfast operation and it’s always lovely to be met at the door with a smile and genuine welcome from him. Rosh, Gasim and Zaheem remember our drinks orders and the lovely chef on the fruit and pancake counter (oops, sorry I’ve forgotten his name but he looks remarkably like the footballer Cristiano Ronaldo) would arrive at the table with our favourites without us even asking! Amazing! We like to split our dinners between Meeru and Jing. Meeru’s barefoot setting is very special and the grilled meat or fish dishes are freshly cooked. Zaheem would be there again - always smiling and ensuring our Meeru experience was memorable. Jing is ‘another world’ experience. In a glorious setting overlooking the Indian Ocean with some tables outside on the balcony, this restaurant is everything you ever dream of when you think of the Maldives. With tempting, cooked to perfection, Asian inspired dishes providing meat, fish and vegetable options there are plenty of choices for more than one visit during the holiday.

I had the pleasure of visiting this beautiful hotel and island with my sister as her birthday treat. The whole experience was exceptional from the moment we arrived via the sea plane (note it’s very loud, take ear plugs!). We ate in all 4 restaurants, all superb, Jing was probably our favourite and they made a real effort to celebrate my sister’s birthday. The spa experience was amazing, Amelia was tiny but wow she had hands of steel!! The level of customer service we received by every member of staff we encountered was excellent. Everything here is excellent, every stuff is kind, friendly and patient. This is my first time to Maldive, the lovely sights make me want to stay here for a year! love HALAVELI!!! We have an unforgettable honeymoon. Highly recommend!!!!!!

There were three restaurants for food. The restaurant we went to mainly served food from a different country each time, so we never got bored. The room cleaning was excellent, especially the pool, which was very thorough and clean. We were able to enjoy a comfortable vacation indoors.

The scenery is beautiful, the environment is comfortable, the service is very good, is a good place to relax. We have enjoyed a real leisure holiday here, and forgot the troubles.It is worth mentioning that Silvia is very nice and the service is very considerate.
