Riad HAJ Palace & Spa

A perfect experience we had in this Riad. When you have parked your car, they Will pick you up and help you through the small streets of Fez. Once arrived, they take the time to help you. The people working there are so friendly! I recommend this Riad to everyone!

Let me start by saying that is place is not just a hotel. It's like being home . I have been treated with the love and generosity of family. The hotel is super clean and the room was just right. I am here during Ramadan and have found it to be a wonderful and enlightened experience. Thank you to all the great people that I have met while here. Hope to see you again one day.

I HIGHLY recommend Haj Palace! From the location, to the ambiance, to the food, and especially to the service, it was one of the highlights of my trip. In particular, I really must express my appreciation for the manager, Adil, who was incredible. First, the location is fantastic. You are in the middle of the medina, which is where most travelers will want to spend their time. With that said, the hotel is also at the end of its own side alley, not right off the main walkway, which means it is a quiet and peaceful refuge from all the hustle and bustle of the medina. You can spend the day exploring the craziness of the Medina, but rest assured you have a peaceful place to return to easily. So convenient and nice! Second is the ambiance. The interior is beautiful, rustic, and charming. The main hall is nice and open yet still cozy, and everything is decorated in traditional Moroccan fashion. My stay was brief, so I only had one breakfast, but it was awesome. It was simple but had a lot more variety than I expected— assorted bread, butter, jam, honey, olives, fruit, coffee. What I appreciated was the care and quality. The eggs were perfectly cooked sunny side up, coffee was rich, and the bread soft on the inside with a lovely crisp on the outside. I love it when places keep it simple but get it right. Finally and most importantly was the service. AMAZING. When I had trouble booking my CMT ticket to Chefchaouen, the front desk immediately helped me resolve the problem. When I asked to change my reservation because of a last minute itinerary shift, they generously accommodated me. But the main reason I am so thankful to them was for what happened on the last day. Without getting into all the details, I was scammed on a tour and didn’t know how to resolve the issue. When I asked the manager, Adil, for advice, he got the contact info of the tour operator, called them personally, and assured me that he would help me resolve the issue. In the end, everything worked out. It can be a bummer to go through issues like that while traveling, but the kindness and support of people like Adil is a reaffirmation. I can’t speak highly enough about the Haj Palace. Everything about my stay there was awesome and definitely recommend this place to anyone who appreciates authentic and caring service and accommodation. These people care about what they do and it shows!

Incredible place,in the heart of the fez and with the best staff,especially Omar! Helps 24 hours a day,knows the best places to see and helped to organise trip to the desert! We felt comfortable and very protected with him!like we stayed ni our home! Absolutely recommended!!and without any doubts we will come back!

I stayed at Haj Palace for 3 days on my Moroccan round tour. The riad is in heart of the old city and medina. Easy to get around and good taxi connections by the blue gate. The staff helped me with taxis and ordering train tickets. Great service and friendly staff. The included breakfast is plentiful and the cheap dinners a three course meal for 120dh! I can recommend their hammam as well. Great relaxing experience.

It was one of our best accommodation experiences ever! They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and happy, and we really felt at home. Samira, Mohammed, Abdul and all the staff were great and welcoming, always making sure we had what we needed. The riad is in a great location, well taken care of, beautiful, extremely clean and quiet, which was perfect after a long day of walking around the medina under the blazing sun. Our room was exceptional - big, comfortable, clean, quiet, cozy, the ac worked perfectly and it had a huge bathroom as well. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. We also booked a tour around the medina with them and it was super nice. We really had an amazing stay and wish to come back soon!

We stayed only one night at the Riad Haj Palace and it was already sufficient to know the hospitality of the staff, the good food and the chilly vibe of the place. Omar was an excellent host and the rest of the crew were always ready to help without being pushy. On the contrary, they were always relaxed and our stay was excellent. During our short time there, Omar also showed us his talent by playing some Berebe music after dinner, and the experience was awesome. Their hospitality can be seen in all the small gestures, like giving us the breakfast to go because we had to leave earlier. The location is also great if you want to be in the heart of the Medina and feel a bit closer to the locals.

Adil Bakkali who works in this Riad took 300 Euros from me (I transferred it as a deposit for a rent of an apartment) and refuses to return it to me. Adil keeps asking me to wait for a "few more weeks" for three weeks in a row. Sorry, Riad Haj Palace for one-star rating - I will delete this review immediately after someone will help me to report this man to Moroccan police.

ATTENZIONE abbiamo prenotato tramite Booking questo Riad pagando in anticipo. Arriviamo lì e dopo aver girato 2 ore per Fez perché su google maps è introvabile, scopriamo che è chiuso. Nessun avviso, nessun messaggio, niente. Dopo diverse telefonate, grazie all'aiuto di altre strutture, siamo riusciti a farci dare una soluzione alternativa. Orribile. Abbiamo declinato e ci siamo trovati da soli un altro Riad. Non prenotate
