アメニティが可愛くとてもいい匂いがしました。 朝食の食器や鍋つかみもとてもかわいかったです。 ホテルの場所は仕方がないですが、とても難しかったです。 トラブルがあった時、オーナーの方は終始穏やかに話を聞いてくれました。私は英語を話せないですが、丁寧に対応をしていただきとても感謝しています。

A pretty Riad close to Place Seffarine with the coppersmiths workshops. As noted before, the approach to the Riad is not so lovely but not dissimilar to so many other Riad hotels. Once inside, it’s clean, quiet and well tended and the rooms are nice. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food was generally very good and generous in quantity, although a touch too much oil in the tajine we had. Thanks for a pleasant stay.

A beautiful place in the middle of the old Fez Medina. We have been warmly welcomed by the manager and all the staff. The place is extremely charming, the rooms are fully equipped and guests can enjoy the sunset from the terrace. We strongly recommend this Riad for any type of traveller.

Our whole experience in Dar 7 could not have been better. The riad was fabulous from bedrooms to breakfast. The riad manager Sufyan is born for the job. He has possibly the best manner, extremely knowledgeable, helpful & kind. We could not recommend it more. Thank you Sufyan for making our trip so memorable.

What an amazing stay… I couldn’t have wished better for my week. The house was so beautiful, (far more than I expected) the bed was extremely comfortable and the place was so quiet and clean. Fatima and Sofyan made me very welcome from the start. I did a few days of cooking classes and it was pure happiness in that beautiful kitchen. The location is perfect. Special moments spent in the local cafe right on the square… sipping tea… and wonderful experience going to the market with Sofyan. I highly recommend this place, excellent value for what you get. Sofyan and Fatima, I ll be back .. merci.

The Riad is conviniently placed in the middle of the old medina, perfect to walk around the main attractions. Sufi is a wonderful host and will provide a helpful support for any necessit. Morning breakfast is at top level. I will definitely come back

A full delight ! We had a wonderful week staying at Dar 7 Louyat. First, the staff is extremely nice, welcoming and helpful. Sufyan speaks many languages, including Chinese, which was very nice for my mother-in-law who speaks only mandarin. Our children (6 and 1.5) felt right away very confortable with Sufyan and Fatima, and could roam around in the Dar with ease and confidence, and play with them. Sufyan was super efficient in organizing transfer, excursions to the middle Atlas etc. The place is a palace ! although Bertrand, the owner, refer to it as a Bourgeois house from the XVth century. The central space where we could spend time and dine, where the children would play, is beautiful, a well of light with columns 30 feet high, with the rooms arranged all around from ground level to the top, and a little fountain in the middle. The place is wonderfully restaurés by traditional materials and artisans. A beautiful terrasse where Fatima would prépare and serve delicious marocain breakfasts with different types of breads and pancakes and crepes, cheese and butter, honey, homemade jams, coffee, squeezed orange juice, mint tea. It was so nice to stay there and enjoy the view, the sound of the fountain. The rooms were very nice, beautiful shower, a perfect blend of tradition and modernity. The wifi is good and I spent two days of work there in the most agréable setting. The location is also very good, right in the Medina, close to the very interesting place Serfarine. And the markets are everywhere around. The whole stay was a perfect delight. We had three diners there and I highly recommend the tagines and couscous etc prepared by Fatima. We’d definitely would love to return.

Where to start…. This riad is a beautifully restored tall home with a gorgeous roof top terrace to enjoy breakfast (and dinner if not downstairs). Many original wood carvings remain and new tile has been done in a way to blend with the original tiles. All that in a home that has all the modern amenities. The best air-conditioning we experienced during our trip, great water pressure in the shower, super-comfy bed. The room was spacious too. There may be other beautiful riads in Fes but the people here really made it stand out, starting with Sofyan who was so attentive, helpful and communicated with us throughout and prior to our arrival, anytime we were looking to coordinate transport or tours, who was very present and great to chat with during our stay. And Fatima’s and Rashida’s cooking was truly the best Moroccan cuisine we had! Each dish tasty with a variety of spices to distinguish the dishes they served, with the meat so soft. We opted for two of our three dinners at the riad because of their cooking. They also served up a copious and varied breakfasts with excellent strong coffee! And always with a smile and good humor. The location of the riad is on a quieter more local side of town which personally we liked as it felt a little more “real” although still busy, with a fair amount of tourists, and full of life. We enjoyed wandering through the medina tremendously and after a couple of walks had our bearings. Note that although there is no elevator there are two beautiful large rooms at the ground level as well. We hope to be back.
