This is a nice inn/B&B nestled in the country not far from Charlotte, Vermont. The rooms are nicely decorated, as is the rest of the property (European rustic in the style of the owner’s French background). Rooms are comfortable, and the sofas in the downstairs eating area/lounge are very comfy—a nice place to hang out in the evenings. The outside is spacious and nice; also a good place to just hang out. Breakfast, as has been pointed out by others, is somewhat spartan—cereal, oatmeal, and fresh fruits. It could definitely benefit from some of the excellent muffins and pastries that can be found at local bakeries and cafes. We did meet the owner, who was very friendly and helpful with information. The price also was good, particularly when comparing with prices at inns and hotels closer to Burlington. I’m not sure if I’d want to spend a week there, but it’s a great place for a long weekend exploring the Lake Champlain region.
