Our stay ate Emerald was amazing, unfortunately only for a week. The whole experience will be unforgettable. Our family was part of a large group of friends, and we knew that it would not be easy to organise all our meals, excursions and all other activities for so many people. However, the management, the butlers, the F&B staff, the dive center, the spa were all very helpful and accommodating. Our butler, Mina, was the best we have ever had on any of our vacations. Helpful, efficient, informative. We all praise her highly. It would have been impossible to get organised without her support. The resort itself provides great accommodation, excellent wine and dine experience, sports facilities, dive center and entertainment. Hard to mention everyone, so I will call out a few people, like the F&B director, the wine sommelier, the cooks and wait staff, Perla, Nareesh; the singers from Cuba; Andrea, Julia, Carla and the rest of the dive center staff who gave us an unforgettable manta and turtle experience. The guys who took us deep sea fishing. Really appreciate all your effort and hard work, guys. Thank you!

We have just returned from our 11 night honeymoon stay at the Emerald Maldives Resort & Spa and have taken away brilliant memories which we will never forget - we cannot recommend this place highly enough for those who are deliberating which resort to choose in the Maldives. Where do we start!? Firstly, the whole resort is beautiful and impeccably maintained with white sandy beaches and clear blue water . It has its own reef which is perfect for snorkelling where you can see an abundance of amazing marine life (snorkel and fins supplied by the dive team for the duration of your stay). The bikes provided by the resort are a perfect way to get around the island and to get to the various restaurants, bars and sporting facilities. Chauffeur driven buggies are also available. We stayed in a water villa which was spacious, well equipped and spotlessly maintained by the cleaning staff who do such a great job (Thank you Ahlho). It boasted stunning views and its own pool & sun beds, which is perfect if you wanted a day/afternoon away from the beaches or the main swimming pool. The food and drink service you receive while staying at the resort is extremely good. The main restaurant, Aqua provides a large variety of cuisine cooked to a high standard. The other restaurants (Le Asiatique, Amazonico and the Beach Club Grill) give the guest different dining experiences during their stay which all deliver amazing tasty, well presented food. There is vast selection of quality wines, beers and cocktails (we tried all the cocktails ) and there were always friendly and knowledgeable sommeliers at hand during your meals to advise you of the best wines for your particular taste. We would like to acknowledge and thank the bar staff at the sunset bar/cafe and all the sommeliers for their great service, in particular Shivam & Prakash. My husband had the pleasure of scuba diving with the dive team one morning. Wow what an experience. He had not dived for 15 years but Cate from the dive team took him through a refresher dive and was a professional, reassuring presence who assisted him in exploring such a beautiful environment. We also went snorkelling with turtles, which was an experience we won’t forget. Finally, and most importantly we have to mention the employees who made our stay so special. Every single member of staff we encountered were friendly, professional and could not do enough for us. From the moment we stepped foot on the island we were warmly greeted and we were impressed by their friendliness and passion for their job. We would like to say a huge thank you to our butler, Wisham, who was such a key aspect of making our stay such a great experience. This included making our reservations, picking us up in the evening, providing lotion when we got burnt (it is hot - pack SPF 50) and giving us a treasured, personalised gift when we left. Other staff that looked after us so well in the restaurants were Giri, Samaah, Nabee and Perla, who were attentive,

Everything I hoped for and more. The resort is spectacular and the over water pool villa beautiful with the biggest bathroom. The staff are attentive, friendly and knowledgeable and your appointed concierge will go out of their way to help.

This trip was the perfect honeymoon trip! In particular, the staff were friendly and kind, so it was a very comfortable stay:) I think I'll miss 'Loki' who made me happy during Honeymoon Dinner And Thank you for the reliable 'viam' who remembered our couple's room number.

Summary: If you’re booking an all inclusive holiday to the Maldives you cannot do better. The food, service and accommodations are 5*. The choice of restaurants means you never get bored and the island is large enough to have great amenities and small enough to feel boutique and special. In our experience the butler you’re assigned (Hasir for us) is a helpful and single point of contact for all your needs. A golf cart to the bar … no problem. Create a memorable birthday with balloons in the room and a petal path to the bubble bath … no problem. I cannot fault the team at the Emerald and will definitely return. Amazing holiday memories created.

The room was spacious and pleasant. The air conditioner came out well. The view of Lagoon in front of the hotel was really cool. It was nice that the bedding and towels were clean and usable enough. The food was generally delicious and it was a good experience because there was food from various countries. However, it was a little disappointing that there was a stain on the table in the room. I highly recommend Manta rays snorkel. All the staff were kind and I felt good. Thank you.

In Emerald, we had a great time. Here the food is very good. We went to three different dining rooms and ate much delicious food, including lobster! Very thankful to the Chinese staff WENYE. She helped us to arrange our plan in this island. This is the first time for us to Maldive. Really unbelievable, really beautiful!!!
