What a lovely little find this is. Beautiful spot. Pretty surroundings. Peaceful and quiet. Idyllic. The only slight negative for us was the tall silo towers at the end of the Quay. Once you are at the hotel you can’t see them. But they aren't mentioned in any of the posts etc I saw before we got there. Get a room with a fjord view you won't regret it

This a lovely place which I really liked!! Set right on the water. Beautiful views of the mountains and the fjord! Room was perfect for my friend and I. Lady at the front desk very nice! There's even a small museum in the lobby and an underground walkway that goes under the street that brings you out in the restaurant. The underground is done up like your in an old sailing ship with lots to look at. Pretty cool. Breakfast included but not as much to choose from from the other Foss hotels we stayed in.

A cosy hotel at an amazing place…the view to the fjord is great! And the museum in the reception-house is very interesting! Not cheap, but not impossible… Little bit more space for the luggage would be Fine in the room.

Amazing hotel in beautiful setting! Has all luxuries you would need and also all comfort! Would definitely recommend this place! Staff was really nice and helpful and gave us precious information for our trip onward! Iceland is amazing and hotels like this make it even better!

We stay there several times a year as we partly work in town. The hotel is excellent, the staff great and the location wonderful. You have to come to the East Fjords of Iceland to see for yourself. It is like nothing else!

We checked in on the last two days before the hotel shut for the season, so it was quite empty. The staff were very friendly and kindly upgraded our room to a waterfront room with a balcony, which had a stunning view of the fjord. The room was cosy and warm, had a good bed and was super dark and quiet, so had great sleep quality. The breakfast was on the modest side, but was fresh, tasty and had everything we needed. Overall, a lovely stay and wonderful experience.

I had an issue: I booked two days at the hotel, included breakfast. At the first day the breakfast was complete, with white bread, croissants and sweet pastries. At the second day only white bread was available because a big group of a travel agency finished with the all assor**ent of sweets breads. More five couples of guests stayed without this service. A note: we payed for the breakfast, it is not for free… this is a non organization method to supply all the guest in the same way.

Raphael was s gem! What a fantastic receptionist. The property was super clean and comfortable. I would add a few options to the menu, but in all, will recommend.
