Travelodge Peterborough Eye Green

Nice clean warm hotel friendly staff, we came to Peterborough for a special birthday party, we would definitely recommend, and would stay there again.

Sam was very welcoming on arrival and has ensured I'm properly taken care of. Excellent service. I will use this Travelodge again. Kept me stocked uo with tea and coffee. Bedroom was clean ,warm and welcoming. Excellent access to the City Centre . Also an excellent Indian restaurant close by. Marigold Tavern. Eye. Thanks Sam

Upon arrival Salma greeted us - super friendly. We stayed in room 24 on the first floor. The room was clean with a king size bed although it seemed a bit on the small size. Sheets were nice and fresh but there was a small (and I mean small) amount of what looked like blood that hadn’t completely washed away on the left hand side of the duvet cover. Mattress was okay, Pillows were comfortable but could have done with two - I’m sure if we had asked, Salma would have happily provided them. There were no glasses in the room however we were provided with plastic cups which was fine. The bathroom was clean, shower was great but bath mat had worn down and therefore meant the bath was quite slippery - good to see hand rails as I needed to use them when getting in and out. The soap by the sink had not been filled so we just used the shower gel in the bath. Curtains could have been darker and the room had a strange smell. Our room was above the Starbucks which meant that when the delivery lorry turned up at 8.45pm and didn’t leave until gone 10.00pm we couldn’t get to sleep at our usual time because of the noise the driver was making and we couldn’t open the window because of the fumes from the lorry that was left running right below our window. It was an early awakening too at 6.45am when the workers opened up Starbucks with lots of door banging and moving of the delivery downstairs. Parking plenty and great facilities such as greggs, Asda, subway and McDonald’s all within walking distance We will be back as have another booking as it’s convenient for parkrun locations but obviously wish to avoid that side of the hotel.

Staff were great very helpful, polite and accommodating. Room was clean, spacious and had everything you would need. Will definitely be coming back. I found it very quiet in the evening so sleep was not disturbed. Only thing I would say it would be nice if there were plug sockets by the side of your bed so I could charge my devices whilst using them

Great travel lodge and was welcomed by the most friendliest of staff who was very polite and helpful great and professional service from Sam Its always nice to be greeted by a friendly smile at the end of a long day she also had plenty of knowledge as to local shops and food places in the area Top top service Thanks Sam

Outstanding service at Peterborough Eye Green, Sam and shahid are very welcoming and go above beyond, the rooms are clean and tidy, bed and pillows comfortable.... Close to Starbucks, McDonald's and a subway in the garage. Stayed for work purposes just exactly what I needed

Great staff had a good 2weeks here big shout to receptionists Salma + sam was very helpful the location was not bad to say it was quite out the way there was mc Donald’s Esso subway and Greg’s what made the stay a lot better don’t have to go far for food would stay here again

I arrived a little earlier than check-in, but was greeted by Salma and she was kinda enough to let me check in early. She was extremely kind and understanding :) Definitely started my stay on a positive note having being seen by her. Much appreciated!

Arrived at the hotel at 14:57 after a 2 hour drive to be told that I could not check in until 15:00. Was told to wait outside, did this and checked in just after 15:00. Asked if I could leave a package for friends to come and pick up but was told no. Got through the reception door to go to room using the supplied key but it would not open my room door(14). Trapesed back to reception for another key. This time it worked but upon entering the room, it stank of cigarettes. When my friend turned up a few hours later after I had to wait for them, I took the parcel to reception and handed it to them. Went back to my room and key was not working again so back to reception I went again. We have stayed at this hotel many times before but this has put us off staying again. Premier inn from now on.
