Very convenient location - very close to Exeter Cathedral and a 10-minute walk from the central station; Cozy room with some designs and renovated works ; Nice staff and breakfast ; some unexpected steps along the corridor but it seems that it can fit 6-floor rooms in 3 storeys; Acceptable price with the quality and service provided

Dinner and B’fast is good in term of quality and staff friendliness but few unpleasant experiences during the stay happened 1. Rooms nearby possible is family with few rooms together as whole night is keep the door banging noise in and out 2. The bath room door cannot close properly maybe the door hinges is a bit loosing 3. Smoke detector activated at around 11:00 for around 1 min, and I found that it is a testing but no one informed in advance upon check in or guest letter in room until I approached to the housekeeper and clarified 4. Started in the morning around 10am, housekeeping staff start cleaning the rooms nearby but the door keep banging banging more than 20 times, it is really annoying 5. Cleanliness, few hair found in the washroom basin and one piece on the duvet cover In conclusion, hotel location is good, staff friendly but the hardware and fire alarm is really made my stay unpleasant

A super experience. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Location could not have been better if you want to be based in the centre of Exeter. Breakfast met all expectations.

Great location and fantastic rooms. I really enjoy staying in this hotel on my business travels. However, I don`t recommend to get breakfast as they are extremely slow and you can`t get your breakfast on time especially if you are in rush and traveling for work. Apart from that all is good.

A last minute booking as we were passing through Exeter visiting family. The room was decent with a comfy bed. There was a little noise from the courtyard outside playing music at night which stopped about 10pm. No issue. Great central location and a relaxed night. No complimentary toiletries 🧴not even a toothbrush 🪥- which is just a pain to have to go and buy them. I asked at reception and he just shook his head. 🤷♂️99% of hotels we stay at have them - seems a little tight 🤣 - anyway no issues with the room or location so we’d stay here again if needed. 👍

I love the design of this hotel—it's a dream come true for William Morris fans! One thing to note: the hotel is located on a pedestrian-only high street, meaning cars cannot access the front entrance. The nearest taxi stand is at least a 10-minute walk away, which may not be ideal for guests with large luggage. However, Uber can drop you off near the shops, about a 6-minute walk from the hotel.

Had a lovely stay at the Indigo Hotel , nice clean and modern room with a lovely big bed and nice shower , we also had a complimentary mini bar with free soft drinks , great location right in the heart of Exeter ,which was great for eating out and going to a few bars , the staff we found very friendly and welcoming and I would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a hotel in Exeter 👍
