The rooms are old and dirty, no internet in the premises. I had a ossue with them and couldnt fix it because the manager wasn't there. This place must be locked down or renovated. I'll never come back there and recommend it.
The receptionists need some training becUse unprofessional.

Went to Sunshine hotel for a school reunion, was there for 3 nights and from the get go I knew it would go sideways. I was given a room in the annex which felt like I was going to the boys quarters. * Wooden parts of the furniture were scratched, old and unpainted. * The door could not lock so anyone with a master key or even regular key could open the door. I brought it to their attention but nothing was done. I had to put a chair behind the door to slow down anyone who tried to come in. * There was no running hot water so I had to call to be given a bucket any time I had to bathe. * The pictures of the hotel on the internet and what was actually there are 2 different things:- The pool was very filthy and when I mentioned to staff they asked if I wanted to use it so they could clean it. I declined as I felt it was not worth getting into that water. The garden (bush bar) was very rundown looking. * Breakfast was underwhelming, I don’t know what more I can say about that. The only positives:- The bitterleaf soup was great. The air conditioner in the room worked well. The front desk staff were enthusiastic. The hotel was quite a disappointment. Would I stay there again? No.

'Came with friends for a reunion event and spent 4 nights. The hotel is well located in the city (independence layout) and easily accessible from the airport. It is quite close to the once iconic Presidential Hotel (now defunct/dead). The facilities are generally ageing and need tune up. One of the elevators malfunctioned for two days ditto the stand-by generator for a while. The rooms (deluxe & above) are quite spacious. The breakfast buffet was fair but could do with more varieties. Sadly despite the worldwide ban on smoking and visible signs around, some questionable characters smoked all manner of substances (at night) inconveniencing others with the foul dangerous secondary smoke, particularly on the 5th floor. Complaints to the management made no difference. Not good!
