My birthday fell on a Monday this year but Madame, encouraged by the communicative Cedric, Belgian owner of La Providence, was able to book us a table for two in the evening. A pre-agreed menu of a corn soup starter, followed by spiced venison tacos was delicious. A recommended accompanying Mexican wine ( yes, Mexican wine in France! ) was fruity and vigorous and a almond cake complete with birthday candle concluded things. Our host Cedric was a knowledgeable and helpful fellow, keen to make a success of his restaurant and hotel. Reservations required well in advance in peak season. Bon appetite!

Très belle surprise, derrière la façade un peu austère, les propriétaires ont su non seulement garder le charme à l ancienne de l hôtel mais lui apportent également une touche de modernité à travers un accueil très personnalisé et professionnel, une cuisine copieuse inventive et de grande qualité avec des produits en circuit court. Surtout ne changez rien !!!

Michele et Raymond . D Nous avons passé une semaine formidable en famille. L'auberge la Providence fût pour nous un havre de paix où nous nous sentions comme à la maison. La nourriture proposée est variée et délicieuse tout en privilégiant les produits locaux. Notre hôte Cédric est super et de bon conseil pour nous orienter dans nos choix de balades ... Sans hésitation, nous recommandons.

Nous avons passé un petit week end en famille à cet hôtel et nous en gardons un souvenir vraiment unique. Les hôtes sont d'une gentillesse et d'une serviabilité fantastique. La cuisine était aussi incroyable, nous nous sommes tous vraiment régalés. C'était un vrai séjour authentique, merci à eux.

Tout est excellent ! Un accueil parfait et discret, des échanges enrichissants, des repas fins et délicieux et une literie très agréable. La décoration est charmante et nous sommes à deux pas de la station Superbesse ! Un grand merci à nos hôtes !

Mon frère et ma mère avons tous les trois passé la nuit du 1er au 2 novembre 2023 dans une chambre spacieuse, très propre, confortable, au calme et aménagée avec goût et authenticité. Notre hôte et propriétaire de l'établissement nous a concocté un petit déjeuner complet et de qualité avec en plus le choix entre sucré ou salé. De quoi bien démarrer le circuit du Cézallier ! Surtout, nous avons beaucoup apprécié sa sympathie et sa disponibilité malgré notre arrivée tardive, ainsi que le chocolat chaud quelques jours plus tard à l'issue du circuit avant de récupérer nos voitures. La météo à ce moment-là était tourmentée, mais l'amabilité du tenancier nous a réchauffé ! A réserver sans hésiter !

Mention spéciale pr la cuisine de myriam. Toujours 1 vraie découverte. Que du plaisir Des dîners à thème original et variés. Je recommande si vous avez envie de voyager au grès des plats proposé par ce restaurant

Nous avons passé 3 nuits dans ce formidable hôtel restaurant. Quel plaisir de trouver tout le charme d'un hotel familial. Très vite, nos enfants ont été familiers avec Cédric le chef des lieux, accueillant, à l'écoute, sympathique. Et Myriam, son épouse mexicaine, nous a régalés avec des plats français et mexicains, très bonne cuisine. Cédric aime nous raconter comme tous les produits cuisinés sont locaux, viennent du village à côté ou du berger du village d'après. Bref, l'hôtellerie comme on l'aime en vacances, chaleureuse, confortable. Nous reviendrons !

Nous y avons passé une seule nuit mais avons été accueillis chaleureusement par Cedric le propriétaire qui en plus a été très arrangeant. La déco vintage, chinée ou non est très sympa. Matelas très confortable. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et délicieux. Beaucoup de produits faits maison. Nous rec!ommandons
