It would have been rated higher if not for the noticeably numerous hair on the bathroom floor that does not belong to us. How did it get there? Short n curly hair is very distinctive.
Anyway, the room was good enough but prices in Edinburgh runs on the steep side. The location was convenient, just walk to Haymarket station or bus stops around. Staff try to be helpful overall. The pillows are very comfortable, as either the bed.

This is a rather disappointing stay. I hope we can get a proper compensation.
1. The bathroom does not have any basic toiletries, not even hand soap. We had to go down to reception to ask and was given hand lotion and told that it works as hand soap?!?
2. Breakfast is not ready at 7am. Breakfast is supposed to serve from 7 - 10am. On first morning, breakfast spread was not complete because chef came to work late. (Photo shows what was available to guests). We had to leave to catch our day tour bus so we barely ate anything. On the next day, no breakfast was served because there was issues with gas.
3. Room cleaning was not complete. Room cleaning only made the beds and refreshed the towels. The dustbins were not emptied and the toilet papers were not replenished.

Good property, friendly staff, great location! All the staff, especially at the checkin counter are professional and always ready with recommendations. We were there on our honeymoon, and the staff made us feel special with their gesture. Though limited space but Free parking is an added bonus!

Great location near to Tram and Bus stops and 15mins walk from the famous Prince's street, Great cozy rooms with heating facilities. The Amalfino resturant was amazing with variety of options to choose from the menu. The morning brekfast spread was superb. Highly recommend for travels visiting Edinburg.

Very nice and comfortable stay, isn't too far away from city centre(Princes St), lovely décor inside and outside, loved the colour on the walls lol staff were extremely friendly, although Wasim(I hope I spelled his name right) was the most disrespectful, obnoxious and rude employee I've ever came across, he didn't even look at us whilst talking to us, just stared at the computer screen whole time, gave us the impression that he didn't want us bothering him, if I was his superior id be very worried about his attitude then on the flip side we had a lovely interaction with the maintenance manager Kerr who couldn't help us more, he showed us how to work the tablet in room, adjusted the heat in the room to a comfortable level, he even recommended some nice bar and pubs Four Points are very lucky to have such a respectful and enthusiastic staff member in Kerr We will 100% be back next year, we missed out on the Edinburgh tattoo so hopefully next year Great stay and memorable
