SnapStay Hoi An

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in! Ernest makes such an effort, remembers the name of all hostel guests and organizes cool events every day - a solo backpacker's dream. The rooms are clean and quiet, the beds have good curtains and offer comfort. The good rating from Snapstay and the award as "Best Hostel in Asia" are definitely justified. I can highly recommend this hostel to anyone!

This place was absolutely amazing. Such a cute room with comfortable beds & a very nice cafe downstairs that serves great food and coffee. The location was spot on and Ernest was the greatest hostel owner we’ve ever met! He had a free Vietnamese lesson set up for us & when he saw it was my friends birthday the next day in her passport he came out with cake at midnight!! We wish we could’ve stayed much longer. Can’t recommend enough!

This is one of the best hostels I have had the pleasure of staying in. It was super clean, beds were very comfy and there are plenty of showers and toilets. This is also a very social hostel thanks to the lovely Ernest who goes above and beyond every single day for his customers. Ernest is a fantastic host and you can tell he loves what he does. I felt safe and comfortable the whole time I stayed here and the food and coffee was always amazing. Ernest gives fantastic tips about the local area and is always willing to help. Thank you so much!!

This place has great reviews, but the staff is really really cold and ruthless. I had a really really bad experience with this place because my luggage was kept inside but I came to check in post their "official check in time mentioned on policies in Hostelworld" BUT NOT TOLD TO ME WHILE SPEAKING TO THE RECEPTIONIST FOR SO LONG AND KEEPING MY BAGS. THE WATCHMAN JUST WOULDN'T LET ME ENTER TO EVEN GET MY BAGS BACK, leave aside check in. There was someone at the reception but the watchman wouldn't let me talk to them either. I literally had to beg for a long time for the watchman to get me my bags back. And the next day i get a message from snapstay saying they will cancel my bookings for the upcoming days too if i don't respond by 10 am ( i could be sleeping? And check in time is 3 pm anyway) Just writing this in case it can help anyone. There are many warm places out there where the hostel management and reception is helpful and understanding. I stayed in many hostels on my trip to Vietnam and this was the worst experience I had.

Great atmosphere, the check in process and communication prior to arriving was superb, and really friendly staff. Highly recommend! Will be back next time I’m visiting Hoi An for sure. They also had recommendations of where to go/what to do which was appreciated. Location a bit outside the main area of town but still convenient to beach or town

We stopped in for a coffee during the rain, the environment was super welcoming, clean and tidy. I got a coconut coffee and my boyfriend a caramel frappe. Both very delcious. We got a brownie to share but should have got one each! The staff were very friendly. Excellent service. Thank you very much.

SnapStay will be one of my best highlights of Vietnam. Ernest and the team are super friendly and make you feel welcome as soon as you arrive. Rooms are clean and beds are so comfy. We stayed here for two nights and it was amazing. The beds were comfortable, clean and spacious. There is a nice friendly and safe environment coupled with opportunities to drink and even quiz nights. My favourite thing about this hostel is the welcome pack that Ernest sends to every guest. He gives recommendations for local food, tailors and activities to try.

The hostel owner makes you feel very welcomed when you arrive and gives you lots of information about the city. The hostel was very clean with super comfy beds, a rooftop and a cafe on ground floor. The hostel held different activities each night for you to be able to get to know other backpackers. Also fab location, just 10 mins walk to the old town and street markets. Would definitely recommend here!
