Discovery Parks - Lake Hume, Victoria

Apart from the stunning view, clean room, friendly service and great facilities - I left my sunglass and Apple Airpods there - was found, kept safe, and sent back to me by post THANK YOU!!! - A Brent

Although we only stayed one night everything about this facility was great, the cabins were great the amenities and facilities were suitable for all ages and i want to come back for a longer stay with the family

Our family of 3 stayed in a 2-bedroom, 1 bathroom cabin (no.9) for 4 nights - Saturday to Wednesday - in March 2023. The Good: - Park was clean and well maintained - Water in Lake Hume was full and came right up to beautiful grassed bbq area (see photos) - Very quiet (especially at night) - Cabin was spotlessly clean - Supplies were plentiful - Linen on beds was high quality and very comfortable - extra, warm blankets were available in cupboard - wifi good - Supplies such as cooking spray and paper towel provided at BBQs - fantastic! - Big, shady trees throughout are beautiful - Easy parking at front for any visitors The not-so-good: -The park feels cramped. Cabins are very close together. I think it would be very noisy with louder people next door in busy times. - Roads within park are very narrow - Spa needs to be booked. Sorry, but I found this odd. - Pedal Go Karts cost $10 per hour each. Surely the use of these could be included in the tarriff (we paid almost $1000 for 4 nights in off-season). - Some old permanent vans/cabins look shabby and bring down the otherwise pretty look of the park An overall pleasant stay! Thank you.

We stayed in a poolside cabin. It was away from caravans and tents. We had a lovely view of the lake. Would definitely stay again but would have to be in the same accommodation. The park is a fair way from the main shopping areas

One of the nicest caravan parks we've stayed in. Cabin was clean, furniture was updated and comfortable. Facilities were great!

Why go to Bali? We have it all here. Cabins well decked out, we were on water edge so fall out of bed into the water. They have a big resort style pool. But we rather swim in fresh water of lake Hume. Grounds are green and lots of trees for shade. Play ground for kids. Not dog friendly. I think it could get noisy holiday times with boats and children and jet skis. We are lucky to have it to ourselves mid week.

A very welcoming park. Couldn’t fault the cleanliness and welcome with lights and hearing on for our arrival.

Overall was a very lovely place to stay. A few issues with the spa in the room and a little bit of mold around a couple of windows, but staff were very friendly and the park overall is a beautiful place to stay.
