I’m living near the hotel and have been curious about it for a while, so we decided to stay. It’s newly built, and everything inside is clean and new, making it very comfortable. Mr.Paul welcomed me with a wonderful smile at check-in. There are security staff near every elevator who are always kind and helpful. The room was lovely, and I had a relaxing time. At one point, I couldn't figure out how to connect the Chromecast, so I contacted guest services. The staff member who helped was very courteous. Breakfast is not buffet-style but ordered from a menu. It was very delicious, and the view from the restaurant was fantastic! Waiter Mr.Hement provided perfect service, making for a wonderful start to the day. The hotel's atmosphere was excellent, but above all, the staff's hospitality was truly impressive and touching! I also working in the hospitality industry and had stayed at many five-star hotels, but the staff level here is very high. I will definitely come back again! To all the staff, keep up the great work! :)

It’s a relatively new hotel near JLT Dubai. Not walking distance to JLT but near. The staffs at the main lobby were friendly greeting you when you arrived in the limousine. 2 Staffs at the reception was slow and inflexible. They did not take deposit during my check in and when I need to have just a coffee and bread at the lobby, I couldn’t sign the cost to my room. I came down without my bag hence I didn’t had cash or card to pay for that meal. The staff at the lobby cafe just said sorry she couldn’t serve, till I had to say it is just a coffee and bread, I wouldn’t run away right and I still have a few nights stay in the hotel. I had to run to the reception to get the staff to inform the lobby cafe staff so I could quickly have my meal and go out for my meeting. Anyway this is disappointing.

Nice stay, get a free upgrade studio room at the highest floor from Yaman. All hotel staff, directors and housekeeping are friendly and helpful. Will be back when I travel to Dubai again 😊😊

Overall the hotel is nice, still smells brand new. One downside is that you have to take two elevators to get to your room, it wasn’t a problem for me since they are quite fast but it can be an issue for other people. Also, the room is huge but the bathroom doesn’t have much privacy which can be disturbing for some people since there’s no actual wall between the bedroom and the bathroom. There are two restaurants and a cafe in the hotel, quite pricey but tasty!

This hotel is new so it’s very clean. The rooms are very spacious with spectacular view. I recommend this hotel for everyone visiting Dubai.

Super fancy and stylish new hotel, amazing design, colors, nice facilities in the room including steamer, very delicious a-la carte breakfast with spread of fresh bread and desserts

Weird policy of being cancelled booking after full payment. I booked for 17th to 24th but becoz of flight cancelation that made me nearly no room to stay at 2:30am. If I don't complain and fight for it, I would have no room and no refund on-site!

An unforgettable stay at SO/ Uptown Dubai! The entire staff, from housekeeping to front desk to directors, was simply amazing. They made me feel like a superstar throughout my stay. Highly recommend!

Check in took too long since the reception personnel were chatting with guests instead of finalizing the check in. At check out they were very aggressive to leave at 12 even though we asked for 15-20 minutes extra only but we left on time. I understand its a holiday season but they can amanage crowds and thier requests much better as seen in other hotels during the same periods. Valet service was fast, but Oh yeah, they annoyed us to leave at 12 and then we had to wait 20 minutes til they got our luggage even though we were the only car at check out! The shower area has only curtains and no glass separating it from the room so it was load when someone took a shower! All in all i wont book again in this hotel.

Nice and new hotel in Dubai! Our room had an excellent view overlooking the villas and we loved it so much. Breakfast was also very nice. Even though it wasn’t a buffet style, we felt that the quality was much nicer and there were plenty of choices to choose from. Highly recommend!

The pool is nice. But not opened everyday. Restaurant is ok and need to take taxi everytime

Very fancy and amazing stay at the new SO uptown. A bit far from downtown Dubai but nice and close to Dubai Marina! Definitely recommend Sara at front desk was a great help :)

Excellent service. But in JLT it’s bit remote. Breakfast could be little better.

Everything was very good
