Imperial Resort

We stayed with two kids (5 and 1.5y) at the Imperial bungalows at the beach in bungalow No 6. (not part of the hotel complex). The accommodation itself was clean, close to the beach and very convenient for us. The reason for the two stars is the fact that out of 7 days ,for 3 days we had no hot water after coming back from the beach. Apparently some of the bungalows are older and connected to a central water heater. So if people spend the water you are out of luck. We had to thus heat up water and wash our kids outside. We complained about this and it was not resolved. They said it would come back later. At 11pm we took a cold shower still. For the price we payed this is unacceptable. The other reason is that the shower was badly built so that the water does not flow in the drain but rather stays in the shower area while you bath. We accepted this as a fact and asked for a mop to be provided to us so we can clean it between baths. It took them 3 days to leave a mop outside our door which the cleaning lady came to pick up the next day. Apparently one can charge 100+euro per night but cannot buy a mop to be left for the tenants. These things were really a deal breaker for us and the reason we will not book here again. Other guests were happy and did not have these problems so it is worth double checking. It is very close to the beach, in an ice area under pine trees so really great for families. But very overpriced for the servie we got. At the end we did not even get an apology, the last time I complained about the hot water I got no response on my text.
