Boutique Beach All Inclusive Diving Hotel

In our opinion the most caring hotel we have ever stayed. The stuff was super friendly, helpful and attentiv and it felt like home. The food of chef Amit was always yummy and the rooms lovely. The dive girls Cam and Lucinda and the boatcrew did so much for us and tried so hard to find the whalesharks and despite difficult weather conditions tried to show us so many different dive sites. We would have loved to stay a bit longer but we will come back. Thank you for the great time!

The Dhigurah Boutique Beach Hotel is an amazing place : family style because it is small (6 to 8 rooms I think) and they treat you as family. Everything is well thought and organized for the guests to feel good. They take you to the boat in the morning where all the diving material is waiting for you. The diving is great (we saw mantas and whale sharks !!). Tea and coffee is served on the boat and the crew and diving team is especially nice to their guests. In the evenings there are presentations on the fish you've seen in the morning and every day they upload on YouTube a short movie of the dives of the day ! It's a very quiet and nice place to stay if you want a nice experience of real Maldives away from the big resorts. Dhigurah is an island with a village where Maldivian people live. The hotel is very comfortable and nicely decorated, all the staff is very friendly. Thanks again we had a great time 😍

This is our second time at Boutique Beach doing a dive/snorkel package. Last time (a year ago) we stayed at BB and then another resort on another local island. This year we again flew half way around the world, but elected to spend the entire 2 weeks at BB, because we loved it so much last time! There are a lot of reasons why Boutique Beach is a great choice, why it has so many 5 star reviews, and why so many of the guests are repeat customers: The staff: The staff really makes it here. Everybody is very friendly, efficient and easy going and everybody works well together. The entire staff was the exact same as the previous year except with one additional divemaster. Ease and transparency of booking. All you have to do is arrange your flights to the Maldives, and BB takes care of the rest - including booking your inter-island Seaplane, Island hopper flight, or speedboat, and the price gets included in your package. There are no hidden fees or upsells unless you sign up for a class or request special equipment beyond the ordinary - what you see on the package is what you pay. All aspects of the operation (Booking, room and facility services, food, and the dive operation) are run like a well oiled machine, yet handled with a laid back and friendly atmosphere. The dive crew is extremely safe and efficient, but also helpful and friendly. Some operations seem to either have an attitude of either drill seargeants or laisseze faire, but they have a great balance here. The dive equipment is in great shape and the dive crew takes care of everything that is left on the boat, including any personal dive skins/ wetsuits or other equipment left on the boat so you don’t have to bring back a bunch of wet stuff and try to dry it out in your room. They don’t always just go to the closest sites, they’ll spend the fuel to motor across the entire atoll if there is a possibility of seeing something that’s been rumored to have been seen in that area. Dives obviously aren’t planned a week ahead of time and put on a schedule, they seem to be planned only days or a day ahead of time based on weather and what other boats have reported so they are always mixed up with different things. The boat really is a perfect dive boat. It’s a large boat with tons of shade and cover for rain, wind, and splashing. It’s super stable and outfitted with everything needed for a long day, and there is tons of space even when full, so you don’t ever feel like you can’t wait to get back to shore. They really really really go out of their way to find mantas, dolphins, and whale sharks, so you never know when (before or after a day of diving) they’ll take the long way out or home to find our large spotty friends. The food is absolutely delicious, and served buffet style, so it’s not over the top fancy, just incredibly delicious and you get as much as you want. This is an amazing dive resort. With top notch diving that is very safe and wonderful. The beds are exceptional here and the Chef Shanti made meals that we will be dreaming of for the rest of our lives. Saeed was very attentive and helpful and Lucinda was one of the best dive guides ever! Shout out to Dylan for assisting us when we had equipment trouble with our gear by loaning us gear from the resort. I cannot say how awesome Mette was with both video editing and ensuring our plans to and from the island went smoothly. Can was very educational on the local ocean life as well. Love that this is a small hotel that felt like a family to us in no time. Will be back here as soon as we can afford the airfare again from Ca. I love that this place is eco smart without sacrificing comfort of the guests. Shout out to Romney for this awesome place!

Superb experience with professional staff. Not only making us feel like home but also safe. Such a great team, from Kawshar, Saeed, to lovely Lucinda, Cam, Dylan; whome placed our safety first with daily exciting excursions. Food was fantastic with Chef Shanthi and Amith. Boat was safe with Captain Ibrahim and Sohag. Big shout out to Afzal, the hotel manager who helped us have a flawless journey despite the weather. He constantly checked in with us to see if we were okay and arrived safely. Romney left for her holiday but did not forget to ring and ask us on our last day, how thoughtful!

This was our second time staying with Boutique Beach Resort. We stayed 2 weeks this time and again the staff exceeded our expectations. From the minute you arrive the staff are catering to your needs immediately, and that level of service doesn’t stop till you are on your boat or plane to go home. The diving operations are the very definition of professional, always small groups tons of dive masters and staff to keep you organized on surface and below surface. You’re in the Maldives so the diving is already exceptionally good but the position of the island and the local knowledge of the staff will never leave you wanting. If you are looking for a full service all inclusive dive experience in the Maldives I couldn’t recommend anything other than Boutique Beach Resort it will be a magical experience.

Boutique Beach All inclusive Diving Resort Have you ever stayed with people who had a passion and wanted to share their special world with you? That is Boutique Beach. We paired a trip to Boutique Beach for boat snorkeling with a stay at Vilamendhoo for house reef snorkeling in April of 2024. My wife and I are well-traveled snorkelers (DIVERS KEEP READING). We booked the deluxe snorkel package at Boutique Beach Dive Hotel in Dhigurah. We were there for 6 days. It was a wonderful time. I will discuss reasons why we loved it and hope to be back soon: 1. The crew is passion driven. Their mission is to expose you to the marine life of the South Ari Atoll. They are attuned to the place, the weather, and the currents, and plan dives and snorkel drops accordingly. The dive crew rotates the snorkel guide position, so we had a different guide every day, which was fine. SCUBA safety appeared to be top notch. 2. The marine life is outstanding. Mettie uploads video from guests and staff everyday on YouTube (@boutiquebeachdhigurah). These videos speak for themselves. This is how you will know that the diving is world class. 3. The snorkeling: because the majority of the guests were divers, we snorkeled at sites near the dive drops with at least 2 snorkels a day. We saw lots of fish, including 2 whale sharks together (and only 5 snorkelers as we were the only boat out that early!). I also had a school of eagle rays come right to me. We saw a manta while snorkeling as well as all of the other Indian Ocean reef fish and turtles one would expect. I did snorkel off the beach in the lagoon, but the way the winds were the week we were there it was murky. There were lots of fish, and I would like to explore it under clear conditions. 4. MUCK DIVERS: the owner, Romney, is a muck diver at heart. If you watch many of the daily uploads, you will come across incredible macro videos of nudibranchs and shrimps, those are hers, as she often dives right with the guests. 5. The price: what we were quoted up front is exactly what we paid at the end. When is the last time you ever took a trip like that? There were no hidden surprises, and Afzal was outstanding at setting up our arrangements. 6. The food: Shanthii and his kitchen crew put out phenomenal food. The serving is buffet style, and we thoroughly enjoyed the flavors. Shanthii is from Sri Lanka, but taps into multiple genres in his kitchen. Multiple times I asked him how he was getting the flavors and textures. Dhigurah is a dry and pork-free town. If either of those are essentials for you it might be a struggle. 7. The boat: the dive/snorkel boat is spacious enough that even with every room booked at the hotel the boat never felt crowded. 8. The hotel: Dhigurah, like all of the Maldives, has extremely limited land and so houses and other buildings are close together, and streets are narrower than where we live. We had a wonderful time for holiday at Boutique beach for a week. Everybody is happy and helpful. They have a fantastic team for diving and snorkeling everyday, the best! We are very thankful for having chosen the right hotel. Feeling like in a big family there and would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a hotel in Maldives for ocean safari games. And we are looking forward to returning.

We recently returned home from a week's stay at BBR with 4 other couples. Words can't do justice to the most wonderful experience we had here! We went for the diving, and with the expert help from Romney, Mette, Ibrahim, Seb, Cam, Dylan, Lucinda, Shohag and Shahid, we checked off all of our bucket list items --- whale sharks, mantas, sharks, turtles, the nudibranchs, etc. They and their wonderful dive boat made the diving superb! To boot, they all care deeply for the animals and ecosystem under the ocean. But that is only the tip of the iceberg. The hotel was kept spotless. (Thank you James and Kawshur.) The meals cooked by Chef Shanthi and his assistant (Amith) were to die for, and were served with charm and smiles by our friend Saeed. All of the pre-trip and on-site arrangements were handled promptly and seamlessly by Afzal and Isuru, much appreciated. Mette's daily videos of our diving were thoroughly enjoyed. But the very best of all was the genuine warmth exuded by each and every one of these persons to make sure we had a great time. They succeeded beyond our wildest dreams, right down to the group send-off they gave us. Beyond the 5-star amenities provided for our trip, they touched our hearts and gave us memories we will cherish. If you have an opportunity to come here for a visit, don't pass it up.
