Intercontinental Dalian

Everything it oki, nice view from top!

Water for tub was yellow. Tub could not get drained all night long.

Good location, friendly and nice personal, bright and big room, clean. But rooms doesn't have a good isolation, in the morning heart kids from some other room and at night music from somewhere. When checked in room I didn't find a tooth brush and comb, but they were given to us when we just asked.

Short but sweet visit trip to Dalian. Hotel is very well located, price is low for standard of hotel but clearly a little older. Would stay again. Breakfast was OK.

The hotel is close to the train station. Meal was awesome and room was huge but kind of old.

A slightly disappointing visit, as the rooms were extremely hot and there was no cold AC, this was made worse by a large heated mirror that you were unable to turn off. Also the fridge wasn't working as you have to tell them in advance if you want the fridge to work.... Odd. The staff were kind and offered apologies, they also offered complimentary room service (though it was that hot I wouldn't want to stay in there) and an upgrade, but no rooms had working cold AC. Though I appreciated their kind and apologetic attitude. Especially Roger Wang, the chief concierge. He was extremely professional and offered to help with any further problems.

I can safely say Intercontinental is one of the best hotels in Dalian after having stayed in many Dalian hotels. For starters we got a room upgrade and early check in and late check out. The hotel also gave us complimentary coffee and fruit soon after checking in. The room was clean, comfortable, modern and had a gorgeous city view. The amenities were satisfactory and their Breakfast buffet had a wide range of Western and Chinese cuisine to choose from. Special thanks to Jason from the fitness centre and Winnie and Kevin from the front desk for their excellent service they especially made sure our stay was enjoyable. The only downside is that I think the Chinese restaurant staff could use some training the service there was the least professional but in my opinion it didn't takeaway from the overall experience.

Dirty room and smoky smell. We requested a crib and it was stained and dirty. Good food for breakfast. This hotel is not up to the standards of the brand. Very disappointed.
