Kn Hotel Matas Blancas - Solo Adultos

Der Ort an sich ist sehr schön. Nur zum aeropuerto und corralejo sehr weite strecken dadurch die autobahn noch nicht fertig ist.

Well what can I say about this place , for a start it was me and my friend first holiday and we thought we come to this hotel as it had good reviews and it was a adults only hotel . Well this hotel was the worst hotel ever , when we got there the lady told us we had to pay after a certain time for drink at nighttime , then we walked to our room and it was horrendous, the photos online of this accommodation compare to what it actually looks like is ridiculous. We had dirty bed sheets with holes and rips in , there was no kettle like advertise in the photos online , it was not clean the curtains had rips and black marks going down them , the toilet seat had black marks on and the bathroom don’t even have a air vent so there was mould everywhere. We got told when we first arrive of the times for breakfast , lunch and dinner but then got told to scan a QR code which will tell us more and whatever she told us was completely different than online so we was confused and didn’t know what to do and when we asked they were very rude and abrupt we did not appreciate this as to young women even though we were adults we felt target . The food we a disgusting , there was a poor selection , it was always cold very cold to the point I asked someone to warm it up when I could eventually found someone as there was never no one about , he didn’t have a clue what I was on about . So in the end me and my mate didn’t bother going for breakfast or lunches or dinners because we felt so targeted by everyone . So ended up spending all our money on food out even when we was all inclusive at the hotel . The worst bit about it was we was told that it was a swingers hotel and the vibe what we was getting corresponded with what was said . There was big groups of people which made us feel on edge and isolated and we felt very very vulnerable in the hotel and out of the hotel ! My advice to you all is do not book this hotel stay far away from it but other towns and places are nice so don’t rule out other towns and place as the island is beautiful .

I travelled here solo at the beginning of may, at first I was very nervous on reading some of the reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. There are some tweaks that could improve the hotel but as a whole I had a great time. I met some lovely people and there was lots of solo travellers. The food was nice nit amazing but there is always lots of choice and I didn’t find it repetitive. If you do like your food piping hot then you should get there when the restaurant opens. The walk to the beach is not too far at all I would say maximum 15 minutes. Entertainment and pool bar guys were lovely! But to be fair I found all staff to be very friendly. Be prepared it can be very windy so you will need pegs/ bands for your beach towels. I would definitely come back here again as I just like to tan round the pool. If you’re more adventurous there’s not loads around the hotel. However I did eat in a Chinese restaurant with a couple I had met which wasn’t too far from the hotel and the food was amazing. I didn’t see any “swinging”. Most of all as a solo female traveller I felt safe both inside and outside the hotel.

We recently stayed at matas blancas hotel. I would avoid this hotel at all costs. The tui rep does not visit the site, which we were aware of, but you’d think the staff that do work there would be a bit more useful. Two days into our stay, we were told by other holiday goers that it is known to be a swingers hotel, we had began to notice some very strange behaviour so it was not surprising. This made us feel very uncomfortable. The pictures online are completely different too what you actually get regarding the rooms. The towels & bedsheets have holes in, and dirty marks. The photos online displayed that there was a kettle in the room, when we asked about it, the woman at reception said we had to pay for it!! We had an all inclusive package. However, the bar shuts at midnight but if you want too drink past 11pm, they charge you for your drinks. This hotel is not a cheap hotel, we paid a lot of money to stay there, why are they charging MORE money for everything? There was no a**osphere whatsoever, apart from the dodgy one the swingers were giving!! So we decided to take a trip into the nearest town of costa calma ( €7 in a taxi ) where again we were disappointed. a few shops and a handful of restaurants… We then took a trip too morro jable €31 each way!!!) We loved it there. it was much more touristy and such a lovely a**osphere. filled with bars, restaurants, shops, everything you’d want near by on a holiday. The food in the hotel is disgusting. everybody in the dining hall looked so fed up by the lack of choice and the fact that everything was stone cold. Everything we tried too eat was stale and just no flavour what so ever. Therefore we had too start spending more money eating out every day, or going without. i highly recommend you DO NOT listen too the good reviews. This is by far the worst holiday i have ever been on. but don’t rule out the island! Just go somewhere like Morro Jable 🫶🏼

Stayed in March. Nice place! Rooms, clean tidy which is what you want. Ideally they would put a kettle in the room for a morning brew. We took our own so no issues. I believe you can hire from reception aswell. Food and Drink, food was good.. plenty to choose from didn’t go hungry at all. Snack bar needs some improvement. Not sure if it was time of year or the norm. We didn’t eat from it once waiting til main restaurant opened. Beer on self serve which always helps. Ideally they would look into the opening times of the bars. Pool bar ok but then the lobby bar needs to open slightly earlier and also stay open later. The reason I say stay open later is it closes at 9pm and then you have to go upstairs to the function room. It can get loud in this space so if you are looking for a quiet drink you have to go up stairs get your drink and then come back down. Not ideal.. Staff all friendly no issues. We had a car for the 11 days we visited and this helped. Location of this place isn’t super for those looking to take a beer or two in a local bar. Beach is around 20-30 minute walk. To what I would say is the better beach. (Kinda made up of three beaches)

This hotel is lovely please don't fall for the negative reviews like I nearly did, the staff are so friendly and they do anything for you , the rooms are kept clean every day , I went bed and breakfast as I like to get out I would recommend you go to the next small town it's about 6 euro in a taxi and go to Mama Mia's for food as there isn't a lot of choice ,.I went to the spar and bought sandwiches and stuff for room for through the day as it's cheap enough . If you want a week just to chill and relax this is the hotel to visit the food for breakfast was lovely , there's lots of choice . Thanks for a lovely holiday thanks to the staff

If your travelling solo this hotel is perfect...i went with a friend but we had separate rooms. The hotel itself is lovely, really clean and the room was lovely. Some of the barstaff were not the friendliest but overall the staff were great. My only complaint was the food - i admit there was not many people staying but the food that was out was cold and very limited (i will eat anything but did struggle on a couple of occasions to find something warm). Yes a kettle would of been nice in the room but you can hire them. The entertainment guy was very keen always coming round telling people what was happening and he is a great performer. The other reviews about Swingers hotel is absolute BS i would of felt quite safe and happy on my own. Would definitely go again but probably eat out at night :)

We needed a relaxing holiday, after a very difficult two years, and boy did we get it! A lovely hotel with the most amazing staff. They all worked so hard to make the place look and run so smoothly. Our room was basic but clean and comfortable, and the view from our balcony was beautiful. The food was great and plenty of choice for everyone. Although it was up the top of the hill, the views from the hotel were worth it. Walking down was fine, but getting a taxi back was easy and cheap. The entertainment was great and Fabian was the perfect host. Personally, we can’t wait to go back. The wine was dodgy but the gin was great 😊

We asked for a ground-floor room for my wife's bad knee and we got it with the added bonus of 2 sunbeds on the balcony which was also a windbreak. We had everything within a short walk. Seen food bad reviews but all meals were fine we had king prawns/ steak/ full chickens cut up/ beef joint/ mussle for nighttime and never had any complaints. The drinks were fine but the wine was fizzy only complaint but we could still drink it. The pools were cold on heated but we just went into the spa for 1 hour and did a heated indoor one with a steam room and sauna and jets in the pool. It is hilly and had to walk if you have problems with mobility but taxis are not expensive. I would come back.
